    this is SO useful to watch you do this... Lenormand is a bit overwhelming for a beginner like me. Listening to you riff off 3 cards for 20 minutes is simply tremendous help, because you are sharing your thought process out loud. There is so much in each card, and there is nothing like an example like those you share to finally grab and remember meanings for each card. It is so funny that, following this video, I did a 3 card pull with a similar question to yours (how can I... ), and my very first card was... THE CLOUDS! 😁(except the dark clouds were on the left!)

      Thank you for your detailed feedback, Tater! And, remember that the first card is where the story begins, so don't panic when it's a troubling card. I learned early on to keep those cards face-down until they're all drawn so that any negative feelings I had about that first card wouldn't influence the cards I drew next.

      3 cards doesn’t just have to be a single sentence! Its showing 3 parts to a story. It’s amazing to watch you divine Lisa.
      As soon as I seen the key I thought of the third eye. I use the same cards as you do for the chakras.
      This most certainly helps me with the question at hand- intuition- and this 3 card series is helping me to better understand how the narrative lines works.

      @@carterscartomancy I'm so glad you're finding the videos helpful! I never thought I could do much with 3 cards but the inspiration came for this series and it's proving to be a winner!

    imho the trick to "intuitive reading" is study study study, and then intuition takes over - i.e.: journeying from obscurity to understanding; CLOUD + KEY + SHIP 😆 (and to bring in inserts - ♣️♦️♠️, or "hard work, dedication")
    lenormand always seems to know just what to say. thanks for another generous video, Lisa - you're the best!

    Thank you for this video. As a newbie I struggle with how the cards relate to each other and also I realize I have to spend way more time diving into the meaning of each card. i have to stop rushing for an answer and take my time and read each cards chapter carefully.

      You're most welcome, Aysha, and you're spot on! You can't speak a language until you understand the meanings of the words. At least, you should have a core function/primary vibe written down for each card.

    Maybe it's just for me but in my "personnal gnosis" the cloud (when it comes to mysticism) represents the mist, so the portal to the otherworlds. So my interepration would be like : confusion can be the key to the trip of trip into the inner worlds? (But only for me cause the mist has a meaning for that for me, am i clear ?)

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 5 měsíci +1

      That would be just for you and that’s as it should be. The cards will speak to each of us based upon our knowledge, memories, and current way of thinking. That’s what we all use oracle cards for. We can use Petit Lenormand, tarot, Grand Jeu Lenormand, Beline, Gypsy, Kipper, Etteilla, Vera Sibilla, etc just as we use any other oracle deck, not to mention OH and Dixit types of decks. Know that many of these card decks were designed around a divinatory system. The standardized meanings of the Petit Lenormand are based upon the original system. This is the system that says that the Fox refers to something shady and disguised with the intent of tricking us, the Rider tells us that someone or something is about to arrive, and the Cross is a heavy burden that we must “carry”. Those who don’t use the system can assign any meanings to those cards. And even those of us who follow the system will still look at those images descriptively in a secondary layer of a reading or in a reading whose intention is purely descriptive. All that’s necessary is to set your intention and tell the cards what you’re going to use them for before each reading and off you go!

    The "10% of our brains" thing is a myth actually
    Most of the brain has to be somewhat active for any thinking to occur
    In fact, when you're dreaming, alot of essential areas are shut down, so if you've ever gotten into lucid dreaming, thats why you often seem dumb in lucid dreams, and what happens with lucidity is some parts that aren't normally active "wake up" somewhat, so you have *some* cognitive function while still in the dream
    But yeah, we use pretty much all of our brains at all times. for some tasks certain parts are more active than others. But for intuition, parts of the brain related to imagination and also pattern recognition are active, and you need to engage those areas of the mind to use that skill well. So you aren't wrong, but your reasoning was founded in a myth
