  • Hi all!!! Welcome to my first impressions on the Diamonds by Pandora collection, also known as the Brilliance collection. I wasn’t planning anything on making this video, but I decided to after all as I enjoy making this type of content and I wanted to get everyone else’s input on it as well.

    I also like the bezel setting. It is the most protective of a Diamond. I would wear this ring everyday, so it would be a very good idea for me to get the bezel setting. But you have a point, it won’t showcase the Diamond in all its glory like a prong setting would. But I’ve never had a .5 carat Diamond before haha. So I’ve never had to worry about my rock falling out haha

      Yes it is a more protective setting for sure! Let me know once you get it what you think of it!

    Hmmmm not sure what to think. I like their solid gold pieces they put out recently though!

      I'm glad they put out those solid gold pieces, I've yet to check them out at the store, I suspect I will love them though LOL.

    New sub here! I ordered the $600 ring in the half carat sterling option. I was so excited to get it and it came today and I was immediately disappointed. Not because of the stone which was really pretty, but because of the setting. I found the metal really thin for the price (I do like dainty but it bothers me that for they could not beef it up) and the sterling seemed dull (almost looked like a wrapped paperclip on my finger! I was agitated I couldn't see the sides of the stone and you could really not see the diamond unless looking at it straight on. All sides of the stone is enrobed with metal. I too wish for more designs. I like lab diamonds, but you can go online and get a bit more for your money online and shop around. I feel they will bring some more designs in the future. I did go to my local store and return it sadly. I am still second guessing my decision to return it! It was just meh on the design but I want to see more of the beautiful stone!

      Thanks for subbing!! And also thanks for the more in depth description of your purchase. I suspected that could happen having the metal envelop the diamond like that. It's a nice setting to be sure, but if you want to show off the diamond, in my opinion a prong setting is the best setting to use. I'm so sorry you didn't love your ring, but don't feel bad in returning it. IF you didn't love it then you made the correct choice!

    We’ve had them in the UK for the last year and they’ve just added to the collection here.

    • @MyXpressions
      @MyXpressions  Před 2 lety

      oooh nice!! Are the new items tear drop shaped as well or are they different designs?

    • @sharongrainger628
      @sharongrainger628 Před 2 lety

      So the ones they’ve added are already in the collection that you’ve shown. It’s the one with the thicker chains, which I definitely prefer to the ones that they started with in the UK.

    I enjoyed watching your reaction video Jahndra! I won't be buying from this collection. That's a good point, I wonder if they will retire pieces from this collection. Pandora should stick to what they are known for...their charms and bracelets.

    • @MyXpressions
      @MyXpressions  Před 2 lety +1

      I agree! Once upon a time they did make some great diamond jewelry, but then they retired it of course lol. I think if they did go back to using real gold and diamonds they of course would charge and arm and a leg for them.

    Thanks for the shout out Jhandra. I’m just sitting on the fence with this one. The design is just a meh for me. A lab created diamond is not for everyone. I just have too many questions and concerns. But I do give Pandora credit for trying something different, but I’ll pass!
    Thanks for going over this!

    • @MyXpressions
      @MyXpressions  Před 2 lety

      of course and thank you for the video! Yea i give them credit too for trying to bring diamonds and real gold back to their product collection, but it's not something that I NEED to have.

    I think I’ll sit this one out. Although the teardrop designs are pretty, I don’t see myself shopping for diamonds at Pandora. . . ✨😊🌸

    • @MyXpressions
      @MyXpressions  Před 2 lety

      I think the diamonds, especially the smaller carat ones are priced accordingly, but I have a hard time shelling out that amount of money for something man made, i dunno. When pandora made the lab created gemstones for essence i think those were priced right LOL.

  • @pepercat17
    @pepercat17 Před rokem

    Honestly… I don’t mind that the Diamond are lab created. I wouldn’t be able to get a .5 carrot diamond for that price. I also don’t like gold and am allergic to nickel so sterling silver is the way to go for me. So I could get a .5 diamond in sterling silver for a great price. I think I might go on and do it!

      @MyXpressions  Před rokem +1

      Let me know what you think of it...it's always different once you see it the store, you can feel the weight of it in your hand and see it up close, much different than just online pics!

    “Sometimes bigger is better!” 🤣. I’m not feeling this collection. After getting over the lab created stones I’m already bored of the settings. I’m surprised they didn’t do classic 4 prong settings as an option. The prices are too high for lab created stones.

    • @MyXpressions
      @MyXpressions  Před 2 lety

      Yes I agree, the prong setting really showcases the beauty of diamonds, this setting is fine, but it gets repetetive fast, i hope in the future they add more designs.

    I wish pandora would go back to natural crystals/gemstones. I would buy up all their moonstone and onyx pieces.

    • @MyXpressions
      @MyXpressions  Před 2 lety

      ooooh i do too! Especially their moonstones and their blue topaz!

  • @avieee507
    @avieee507 Před 2 lety +1

    yes the pieces are very cute just looking at them. but this collection is annoying to me to be quite honest. it doesn't feel like they are trying to give quality but they are just trying to upsell the uneducated young men in store buying for their girlfriends into buying a diamond meanwhile this is lab created & many sales people won't disclose this nor know what this means. it just feels like it's so they can mass produce the pieces easier. moisionnite will diamond test before a lab diamond.

    • @MyXpressions
      @MyXpressions  Před 2 lety

      OH MY, I think you practically took the words right out of my mouth. I was literally telling someone else this exact thing!!! At least I know I am not the only one thinking it!! Thanks for your input!!

    • @karleyknight2960
      @karleyknight2960 Před 2 lety

      I will say, in the UK we had extensive training on diamonds as a whole and this collection. We wasn’t allowed to sell it till we received a certificate of training. We always disclose its a lab-created diamond because there are many benefits over a mined diamond so it’s one of there unique selling points. If u go into to store and hold the pieces the quality speaks for itself, I have a few things on my wishlist! 😊
      And just to touch upon the setting. The reason why it’s not a classic prong setting is because u can walk into any jewellers and get a prong set diamond. The infinity setting uses a combination of a bezel and prong, something that is completely unique to Pandora.

    • @MyXpressions
      @MyXpressions  Před rokem

      Thanks for your input, that is crazy that you can't sell these unless you have your certificate. I understand that pandora is thinking outside of the box with the combination bezel/prong setting, I just think I would like it better on a neckace versus the ring. For the ring you want that sucker to sparkle from a mile away and with a bezel it won't as much. But having said that, the bezel and prong setting combo seems more secure.

  • @charmsglitzandsparklez2159

    Def won't be partaking in this. I have a love hate relationship with them. Thank you Jahndra.

    I love Pandora but if I am gonna spend that kind of money I want it to be real. Thanks for all the info but I won’t be buying from this collection.
