- Here is the final part of my Eurovision 2022 Grand Final voting simulation using the old voting system (until 2015) where the jury vote and televote was combined into one score per country.

Whoever decided it was a good idea to put Czech Republic first in the running order should be blacklisted from television.
I was gonna say this looks better with being much more competent and having a more deserved victory for Ukraine.
Then I saw "Czech Republic 0 points"...

Much closer than expected actually. Under the old system the 12 points would've gone ...
Ukraine (13) - Iceland, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Moldova, Latvia, France, Romania, Slovenia, Georgia, Lithuania, Australia, and Czech Republic
United Kingdom (7) - the Netherlands, Malta, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Israel, Austria and Sweden
Spain (7) - San Marino, Portugal, Greece, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Armenia and Ireland
Serbia (3) - North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Croatia
Sweden (3) - Estonia, Denmark and Finland
Italy (2) - Albania and Spain
Greece (2) - Norway and Cyprus
Estonia (1) - Serbia
Poland (1) - United Kingdom
Moldova (1) - Italy

i appreciate the effort, but for countries like romania you should've used the televote only because invalidated juries didnt count for the points
Ermm the EBU have never done that since the 50/50 jury has been used as it’s simply unfair. They were right to use the algorithm results as that what would’ve been done. Unless you use to 100% televote system.
@@jeriswani6062 they actually did that in 2015 with the juries of Montenegro and North Macedonia. Their points were 100% televote

You've taken for granted the fact that in the 2013-2015 system the jury votes were combined using a linear method, and not an exponential method. This would change all the jury results and with that the entire final result.

You did a great job, but imo you should only have used the televote for the 6 countries whose juries were disqualified. At least, that's what would have happened with the old system (Montenegro and Macedonia's juries were disqualified in 2015 so their votes that year were the televote ones, for example).

You preferenced jury votes over televotes which is not how it happens in real life. So Slovenia would have given 10 to Serbia and 8 to Italy and Spain would have given 12 to Romania instead of Italy. So Serbia would have been 5th here too.
Well actually the maximum points that UK achieved from Austrian vote was wrongly noted as Lithuanian. How embarass the wrongful information had taken

Combination = (2+23)/2= 12,5 Overall=11th
Why Amanda is so low and also denmark, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Netherlands gave her 12 points not lower!!!

I always defend eurovision wasnt decided by politic..at least just affect little...we all know there are some neightbours voters

You can't judge on how people vote. That's how it is. Stefania wasn't my favourite as well, however people wanted it to win. Deal with it.
@@jonny47988 obviously people wanted it to win. It’s just upsetting that Eurovision has gotten to the point that people want a specific song to win, based on reasons that aren’t music related, that’s it.
