I was a 1 handed bowler for 9 years and actually shot a 300 at 15. I was sick of getting beat by 2 handers so I taught myself how to do it and 3 years in I finally shot my first 300 2 handed and there is no going back. Probably could’ve had 5-10 more 300’s if I stayed 1 handed but I feel like I have a chance on tour as a 2 hander. 1 handed I would’ve been nothing other
than an above average league bowler.

Absolutely the same reason I am making the switch. The upside is way, way higher. The way I figure it, people can sit there and complain about it, or take action and try to improve their versatility. Like it or not, it’s become a power game, and you need to generate power if you care about competing at the higher levels of the sport.

Please its not the same thing i understand its here to stay when there is no thumb in the ball without a one handed swing its not the same and as far as power from other sports they do it from better conditioning and better movements not thru unconventional styles
