One of the most under rated bands ever
Dude...THERE FUKING BACK....Self entitled album (Green Drop) I found the cassette on the sidewalk and it's my fav HC metal album, they lost me w/ Imprint....brought me back w/ For the Bleeders, then they lost me again...but there backkk...Tim vocals are visceral...How did Asking Alexandria get so big and these guys didn't is beyond me dude
VOD
Imprint wasn't that bad, it had some dope tracks on it and what's better then Tim Williams and Phil Anselmo ripping it on by the river!
You said it.Tims voice is do great the sound amazing.i seen these guys at they're beginning but got more into them recently.
ABSOLUTELY underrated!
this band needs to be WAY bigger. its not fair.
ih8nj Why? They were huge in the 90's and most of the new kids still seem to think their generation is better than the 90's stuff which IMO they still haven't caught up to most of the guys from that era.
Remember these guys from NY back in the 90's. Went to about 10 shows including them opening for Korn in 1995 in Huntington celebrating Korn's first album going gold. Good times. I'm on the cover of their first album/3-5 songs, wearing a Yankee hat.
AWESOME!!!!! I used to go to sleep listening to their 1st record when I was in High School
me too!!!👍🏼
25 years later and I still do
Thank God for VOD and the comeback. The killing continues!¡!¡!
After 28 years they still put 900 riffs in one song
that guy has to be one of the most underrated leadsingers ever, he did a fantastic job with bloodsimple, the song he did for roadrunner united was awesome, and now vision of disorder is back in a big way
Remember seeing these guys in 97 Ozzfest blew me away glad to see them still around. VOD \,,/
They definitely are a great band. I’m not from the generation when they came out. But my dad showed me them and I would definitely listen to them more than any newer bands today. My dad has the same vocal style and that’s why I enjoy them. Tims vocal style is truly better then a lot of other vocalists.
Incredible band ! We want a new album soon guys :)
Tim Williams is the best screamer of all time. No one has more range as far as screams go.
Dude from gulch? Although he doesn't do cleans
and he has a really unique ,straight singing style that is beautifully fear inducing. i think from bliss to devastation is a great album that showcases this
It's funny, one of my earliest youtube vids was me posting one of their songs but I never really listened to them in the decade since. I don't get why because their sound is awesome. A vocalist that is harsh but clear in what they're singing lyrically and music that is full of groove. What a gem to rediscover.
Watching VOD conquer the world with members in towns close to me on Long Island, NY.
Seeing some of them at Nassau Community College.
Following them to shows from the PWAC to Coney Island High...
To be in NYC and not have a dedicated 'new rock' station I think is bullshit to me.
I think VOD would've been as huge as they should be with local airtime.
Pictures from their shows in Japan prove it.
VOD FOR ALL MY BOYS!
Brian Dennison holy shit haven't heard anyone mention coney high in over a decade. Loved playing there.
This band was waaaay Ahead of its time !!
Sick vocals!
These guys kick ass man I remember when my city had a metal scene like New York..
xannie bars??
Great songs + Great Albums = Vision of Disorder, other band passed away when I heard them. This is so fuckin legend...
Fuck yeah, VOD. Quality video.. you can't go wrong with a live one if you're a band this good live. Well shot too. our touring in the UK please.
It's really good to see that VOD is still around & they're still as fucking heavy as they always were.
Damn right, You tell em Sergio. I was at this gig and was simply amazing. Love this band beyond words
love this band!!
I took a risk by buying their latest cd as I never purchased any of their music. I am glad I bought their cd; very intense album. I am all about supporting bands that fly under the radar.
Remember takin the bus from Mitford to the tune inn in New haven at 14 y.o getting my front tooth knocked out in the pit. V.o.d was always in my Walkman when skating. Massive part of my youth. Madball/earth crisis! Killer fn' bands
This song is awesome
Omg i love this instrumental \m/
after a weak albums this is good to hear!
Travis Bickle from bliss to devastation weak????
@@21innocentbystander he's a dumbass, probably🤔😂
I'm sure if that album was released in a different era than the one when nu metal bands were dominating, no one would have complained as much.
Tragically underrated band. So glad they reunited! Metal needs VOD!!!!! \m/
VOD still does it the best.
damn those riffs went hard didnt expect this band to be this good
Crushing!!
This song is fkin amazin, it's energy is so pure so real so honest. I'll never get bored of it. And the video is just perfectly mached with the audio. Everyone there just make their work best, creating wonderful piece of art for which I am so greeatfull to all of you guys. I saw it first when I had a really hard time in my life. And it was just reminding me what I first learned from Henry Rollins, Biohazard and Body Count when I was weak, abused and depressed in high school. WHEN LIFE IS HARD ON YOU, YOU HAVE TO BECOME HARDER THAN LIFE AND WIN THE BATTLE.
Awesome
This is incredibly powerful.
Temazo
I like Vision of Disorder but still Love BloodSimple more. Either way he's a genius for founding both bands.
+Gerald Merritt Yeah, BS is fucking intense, and brutal. Working out to BS will make you tear something LOL
Vision of Disorder came first.
Bloodsimple is more what I want to play on my media player.
This music is fucking amazing. One of the best from their album.
Very talented band,they deserve.
Fuggin tune
Vision Of Disorder............fuckin EPIC changed my life in the early 90's.........glad they are back....
oml this band is such am eargasm.
SUPER DOPE TRACK N VIDEO!!! LIKED,TWEETED AND SHARED!!! MUCH $ALUTE!!!!
fucking love this band. was so happy they decided to start touring and record another album....they have somehow gotten even better with time!
Goosebumps...after a 2nd watch
Best screams ever!!!!!!
Fuckin' eargasm
Damn this jawn is fucking fire
im way too old to be listening to this kind of music but there is just something about them that just clicks with me.....
VOD are back!!!
Been going on as long as korn/deftones in 94. They are veterans now.
yep
Seen them with Korn at the roxy li ny like 94/95 shit was crazy over packed by 1000 people
my favorite song right now mang, this and aesop rocks greatest pac lan history of all time
FUCK YEAH!!!
I still wish we could get Bloodsimple back. I love VoD though
this band is definitely nu metal sounding, but their older stuff sounds more hardcore. i love them, their definitely onre of a kind just like bloodsimple.
Nice- get ready to rock that shit Brooklyn Style this week kids!
I always listen to VOD and BLOOSIMPLE when i workout or play call of duty.
hard times but we're harder than this
It’s absolutely insane to me how this band isn’t in the top tier of heavy music. They got shafted, end of story.
This song is so badass it made colour leave town.
Great video. Great fucking band live
IDK WHY I LIKE BLOODSIMPLE BETTER IDK WHAT IT IS I LIKE BOTH BANDS THO
Yeah still fuckin good !
V.O.D. remains GREAT
Hell simply the best we are waiting you europe slovakia
I was always wondering what happened to Tim Williams after Bloodsimple.
OK this band along with Fear Factory, Sepltura, Nothingface, and Earth Crises got me into metal. Not Pantera. I love and respect them but I fell in love with VOD before Pantera I'm sorry if them upsets anyone but I love underground music. Which this was back then compared to Pantera.
IM IN THIS VIDEO \m/ fuck yeah!!!!!! V.O.D Forever
Sounds a bit like suffer from the first album glad they still got there original sound all im saying is bring back the dreads
Have I finally found a band to fill the hole that Pantera/Damageplan have left.
If you need any more... Lamb of God, DevilDriver, Exhorder, Throwdown, Texas Hippie Coalition, Habit of Force.
I don't remember any more like them at the moment.
sgtlegendkiller you just listed 3 of my favorite bands dude. Lamb Of God, DevilDriver, and Texas Hippie Coalition
+Eric Lawson did I hear devildriver?
sgtlegendkiller upon a burning body, born of osiris, fear factory put out genexus a while ago. but yea, i agree, i miss the snapcase, earth crisis, and even the early hatebreed days
Vinnie Green the album Imprint from 1997 is right up your alley, then. When I first heard it, my first comment was that VoD took a Pantera turn. Phil even sang on "By the River." You would like For the Bleeders, too. That came out in '99.
holy shit, they get back together?
Just realized that bloodsimple broke up. Where have i been shit. This will do I'm happy. :)
which albums should i download by these guys?
dur drup even though you posted this comment 4 years ago, i feel the need to answer it. If you like this song, download Imprint, probably their best album. Also they released a new album since your comment, Razed to the Ground, which is also a fantastic album. If you havent already, download them, NOW!
Vision of Disorder, For the Bleeders, Imprint, Cursed Remain Cursed. Just download their discography.
And listen to "element" RIGHT FUCKING NOW.
Hmmmm the video was suppossed to be recorded at The Underworld in Camden but I can't tell if it is or not.... was an awesome night though :)
This is why I love hardcore! Makes you wanna break someone's neck. To the comment that said "sounds like a combination of Slipknot and BTBAM"... apparently you have no music education let alone an ear for music. It's nowhere near either artists' genre/sound.
This one of the few non shitty core bands
+The Night Stalker shouldn't count as "core" ("metalcore", "dochecore", etc.). hc has been a thing since 1980.
an*
They still can’t play a riff for more than 2 bars
Maybe a live at Hellfest (again)...
Damn, this track kicks a whole pile of ass!
Way better than the Paramore version of this song's name.
MIKEIUS
i thought it was a cro mags cover
Me too
they should not of left Roadrunner records.
Sounds like classic V.O.D. to me. I mean it has a modern twist but it still V.O.D. Imprint was a sick album that gets zero credit. IF you like this you will like that too. Roadrunner fucked them or they could of been huge.
the Pic looks like Kevin James.........
well u must realize that nu metal took a lot from the new hardcore of the 90s...so you must say new metal sound a lot like modern hardcore....i admit that their previous cd was more nu metal then hardcore, but this one is totally hardcore.
GREAT BAND BETTER THAN GREAT BRANDON I NEED A XL WIND BREAKER
Hes trying to be Phil Anselmo
Better than mainstream Pantera....get it...over over over....better take cover cover cover
so fuckin what? sabbath was way before vod, and? Pointless comment.
this shit aint hahdcoah
After 28 years they still can’t play a riff more than 2 bars. SMH
no dreadlocks no care
sounds like a combination of slipknot and btbam and i dont like it
Music in all combination..is still music....we will like all
