- This is my desktop review of the Sig MPX pistol with Pistol Brace. I have added a Magpul AFG and an EOTech optic. The gun now has about 100 rounds through it. So far it has run flawless, but I am not happy with the gritty trigger.

I just got an MPX with a folding brace, but can't seem to get it to fold. I don't see a mechanism or anything. What's the trick?
+Brian Darrah hold grip and pull up and over ( left i think ) it's really stiff.
Does the mag pul AFG just slide on to the gen 1?

Thanks Great review. I just shot mine this weekend it was great once sighted in. couple of questions? Where did you find the folding Sig Arm Brace and do you have any information on the promotion for the magazine purchase? I spoke with Sig sales this weekend and they stated 5-6 week wait for new magazines.
Markus Steele Thank you for the feedback. I bought the gun with the factory pistol brace attached. I had to wait forever for it to come in as the early model was discontinued. My gun store had the non brace model also. As for the magazine offer, I was informed by a fellow MPX owner that ordered it. I believe he was sent the offer when he registered his gun online with Sig Sauer. I am going to be doing that this week and will fill you in if it is a go. He did state they were on back order.

Yes and stated backorder was 4-5 weeks. And Sig brace was 12 weeks

Hello, great video! Can you please provide the information I would need to google the exact grip/handle you changed to? Also, if you have upgraded your trigger, which did you use? I am looking for a trigger upgrade that will provide the least pull weight possible. Thanks!
+Ryan Roberts The grip is a Magpul MIAD Grip Gen 1.1. So far I like the grip so much I have put it on both the MPX and my MCX. I have cleaned up the trigger a bit but have not replaced it yet.
Which Magpul rail adapter is that under the AFG? (9 or 11 slot) Did you have to modify it at all to get mounting holes to line up?
+Dave Martin I will have to pull the AFG off to count the slots, It is the AFG length rail. No modifications were needed but the threads on the gun are covered in the Ph coating so you do have to work to get the fasteners through cleanly the first time. Let me see if I can get it apart tonight and count them for you.
