Going nowhere is absolutely mindblowing. So much momentum with those chord progressions and the trumpet and brass stabs. I really hope we get to hear more of that explosive orchestral sound.

19:58 I love how "Your New Home" goes in tandem with Pomni's train of thought at the dinner table. At first, it's slow, a bit muted, reflecting her introspection on what the hell just happened, until eventually it builds up to the climax. The leimotif gets louder, the music swells, Pomni finally realizes the gravity of her situation. This IS her new home. The first hit is loud but the music's still gradually building up again as the thought dwells on her. The final chorus is Pomni accepting this new reality, an acceptance met with reluctance, slight insanity, and a smile, which the void returns happily.
Even the OST had this much detail put into it. I can't wait to see all the new episodes GLITCH and goose has cooking in the background.

It's not as uncommon as you'd think. The original composers of the Thomas The Tank Engine show in the 80's/90's Re-used themes all the time but tweaked them a bit per season to match each season's vibe, the tone or mood of a scene, & or as each character's maturity changed for each said season.
There are some really good videos by "@TheUnluckyTug_official" that go into detail about this demonstrating how dynamic the music in the show was as well as just about this very occurrence in media in general.

So far it hasn’t gone to a real horror. It’s been dark with a little unsettling imagery. There was a jump scare in there but that wasn’t something built up. I feel like people are playing up the fact of how bad and terrifying it all is but with how they presented it most of the bad things you make up yourself. They could have went way harder considering the source was “I have no mouth and must scream”.

"Your New Home" is such a genius name. It shows how Pomni slowly came to the realization that there really is no way out for her and that she'll just have to accept the fact the circus is her new home
That was the point I felt true horror in the story. Not for the characters being in danger but just being unable to leave something so unnatural. It never felt like they could really die, yet there was threat of abstraction. Which is implied is both painful and your mental breaking point. And that, coupled with madness, was the main threat.
But pomnis realization mixing so ominously with the music is amazing. The music is fun, then the chords change. They feel strained and higher. Like a wire about to snap.

I know “Your New Home” is already a fan favorite, but I just love the carnival fanfare of it that you hear from older Disney movies along with an underlying distortion that feels unnatural and unnerving. It’s like a cementing sense of dread that comes in from the story, that yes, these characters are trapped in a digital world for an unknown amount of time, possibly forever, and that’s a spectacle.

18:20 - 18:47 is easily one of my favorite pieces in this whole soundtrack, the majestic booming low brass mixed with the chaotic chirping of the trumpets and dissonant melody REALLLYY sells the void as a place that's WAY bigger and more complex than anyone could possibly imagine

I know a lot of people have said it before, but "Your New Home" is so facinating to me. It feels like something that would play at the end of the world. Conveying something terrible, a horrible realization, and celebrates it at the same time. Makes the terrible feeling of spiraling down grandiose.
A very nice way to singal the horrible fate of the protagonists and celebrate the start of the series in one few second track.

"Your new home" slaps. Especially the choir and the background music. The slow crescendo from the choir and instruments really sells that feeling of suspense, hoplessness and grandiose. I already saved it to one of my playlists and have listened a shit ton of times. Great job on the soundtracks, Evan and Gooseworx. I hope we hear this theme at the end of every episode.

I love that up until Kaufmo (both in the episode and in the soundtrack), everything seems mostly fine, but upon opening that door, it all begins falling apart. even without the context for the music that the pilot provides, you can feel this progression, the sudden shift in how everything sounds and feels. then at the end, after the dramatics, after the tension, caine suddenly just steps in and tries to defuse everything. but of course, we know now it's all a facade, and that shows in the music too.

17:20 I seriously feel like the sound choice for the void theme wasn’t talked about enough because OH MY GOD the end of that theme combined with pomni endlessly drifting into a infinitely blank space is just MESMERIZING. The whole scene just melts into you. Absolute genius.

What I gathered from this piece too, Going Nowhere
Was how actually natural the strings felt, with the choir on top. As if teasing escape back to the real world, an actual exit
And then the music turns sour, you feel suddenly off about it. Then it stops pretty much mid-bar, leaving you to realise there is no escape from the digital world with the change of scene to Caine and Bubble.
Its kinda sounding like enternal dream
