Thanks for the info on Tyler Wells. I've been holding him in one of my IL spots, hoping that he'll be a SP upon his return. My 16-Team league is vampire thirsty for those. I may still hold him. But if someone else on the IL list comes up...
I feel like a 6 man rotation would only make sense if we let our starters go a lot further in games.....and I just don't see that happening.
June schedule is tough. Might be helpful to use 6 man rotation. with 1 day off all month.
They need to be extremely cautious with Bradish all season. I'd limit his innings and try to save him as much I could for October. Some of his innings should be eaten up by Irvin. The bullpen still needs to get better because that's the area Yanks have a clear edge over O's.
Is Kjersted valuable to the orioles sitting on the bench? Regardless who comes back or down he is as best the number 4 OF on this team and can’t play centerfield. As a prospect or a trade chip regular at bats at AAA maybe be the best place for him. Unless one of the 3 starting OF gets hurt.
I still see a move coming for relief around the deadline
Connor. How do you feel about trading a high end hitter like Norby or Mayo and maybe a low level prospect to get Mason Miller? I think it male's sense for both sides. Especially since the A's front office has thrown in the towel
Friday night’s lineup is why we need Mayo up. I don’t know what his splits are exactly, but surely having him at third and westburg at second is a better lineup when there’s a RHP on the mound. I’m a big Mateo fan and all for playing him against lefties, but there’s no good reason we’re starting him against righties.
Moves within the next week:
- Mayo for Heston (he’ll get more playing time and we need another right handed power bat).
- Hays for McKenna.
- G-Rod for Baumann.

O's should try to make a trade with Cleveland for closer Clase or reliever Smith. Both could help BP .

I would see Wells returning to the back end of the bullpen upon return. Irvin would go into the pen too but Dean would have a shorter leash

Best stuff in the pen: Baumann and Kimbrel. Kimbrel has the back issue to maybe point to, but until that's sorted out, Don't Trust. This one is way more a literal Trust issue, because I don't think the Orioles can trust that he's healthy, even if he says so.

U guys are funny.....yes heston had a brighter career path fwd then ryan agreed.....but comparing defense isnt close heston is a sub par corner of defensivly and mckeena is above average defensive cf and lf.....for a back up role defense is going to be held im a higher regard....also thier both with the big club so its not like if we have one up the other must go down
@@johndavies5582 Don't think anyone denies McKenna is a better fielder. But Kjerstad is a far better hitter.
The reason this is being talked about is because Hays will be coming back very shortly, so yes, that does mean either McKenna or Kjerstad will have to go back down.

Why is Kjerstad up instead of Mayo. At least Mayo could start against righties and lefties and he is in the infield where we need more depth.

Mayo is not going down he is to versatile. And seems to be getting better!
