It is what bullying does to a person. He deserved more than that but he should never have done what he did. I cry for the boys, the parents of the boys, the kids and teachers in the school, the injured, the killed, the family of those injured and killed. Things like this just should not happen. Ever.
@pinkypunxy I hear you. Like I said before, I don't hate Eric and Dylan. And, I was bullied too. But I, like you, never once thought to go on a murderous rampage.
@6adassChick Whats wrong with that? It makes her feel better.. What is she not supossed to leave her house? Shes trying to keep to her regular routine which is a good idea.
It was just start to finish horrific, starting with the victims and their families. Harris and Klebolds families are victims too, they also lost. It is why the USA needs gun control, no guns, no shootings.
I feel bad for Dylan. Eric Harris was a clinical psychopath. Dylan was just a depressed bipolar personality. If he was involved with a better crowd and got help, he wouldn't have hurt anyone and he would be here today. Eric Harris was the worst thing that happened to him. Eric was a total sociopath. He was never bullied. He just wanted to kill people. Dylan on the other hand was actually bullied.
Carol Rezende No I don't read books from people that went to high school or were related in some way to the killers. Those are largely unreliable or exaggerated. I respect Sue Klebold but everyone else is full of shit. I read scientific studies and FBI reports and analysis from top experts in their respective fields that conclude that Eric was a textbook example of a psychopath and how Dylan was suffering from major depressive disorder, which you clearly can't see. Eric being 5'8 had zip to do with anything. I'm 5'7 and even I'm not "bullied" and all my friends are 6'0+. I'm not bragging but girls don't even care about my height, most of them are shorter anyways, like 5'2. So Eric probably got turned down because he was a fucking weirdo and everyone knew he had issues Here's some references: www.psychologytoday.com/blog/keeping-kids-safe/200905/columbine-bullying-and-the-mind-eric-harris www.policeone.com/active-shooter/articles/7094927-Looking-into-the-minds-of-Eric-Harris-and-Dylan-Klebold/ The articles talk about how Dylan was depressed and had aspirations, and how he would've been so much better off without that asshole Eric.
Eric harris and dylan klebold were bullied base from they're journals, even students witness them being bullied, even Brooks Brown seen them being bullied, even 1 of the jocks admit that he bullied eric and dylan.
But earlier in the Columbine years Eric was as small as five foot seven, remember they were teens and sprouted a lot in the few years but Dylan was always tall.
@pinkypunxy I hate what they did too, not the boys themselves. And I am too wondering how the parents, or really anybody else that were very close to these boys didn't notice anything.
@MissLadyDoolittle I find it hard to empathise how people like you can think so positively and I admire you for that. Maybe I'm egotistic, that's why I think of revenge all the time.
What it means is that if the people who bullied Eric and Dylan had already graduated, then they had already graduated and that leaves a multitude of people who didn't pick on them in the school. And the revenge you talk about might not even happen at all, and even if it does happen, they might not even see it that way. The most likely outcome is that the people who bullied Eric and Dylan will go on to lead normal, productive lives without anyone knowing their names while Eric and Dylan don't.
@scorpianofthesun Well I've seen so many specials on Eric and Dylan, I know they were bullied like crazy, I just don't get why they didn't target the bullies and not the innocent kids who didn't do anything to them.
Well they did “target” the bullies. Everyone who represented the bullies. They saved few people they liked and there was a boy in the library who called them by their name and asked what they were doing etc. they remembered that he had always been nice to them so they let him live. He hadn’t bullied them nor ignored them.
@KoreaRwkz I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I sympathize with kids who are bullied, I was bullied for years. I had regular stomachaches because I did not want to go to school. I have never attended a class reunion. But I never wanted to kill my tormentors as a result. The best revenge is to survive and live a happy life in spite of the past, and maybe even be a voice for other victims. These two DIED. They threw away their opportunity to truly change anything.
@coby110798 the media provided them with a scapegoat to hide behind and they did so rather than excpet responsibiloity for their ignorance and stupidity
@quasiphatpaul I think he meant that they would have attend College if they didn't do what they did. I would have loved to have seen what they did with computer games. It's too bad they did such a terrible act. They could have done so much with their lives.
You can't always blame the parents. Its not always the parents fault; Adam lanza's father is asking "Why" as well.Imagine the hurt the shooter's parents go through, to know your own kid killed so many and then themselves. However some parents are to blame as they don't get help for their kids.
@scorpianofthesun families of Dylan and Eric. I've seen parents deal with a child committing suicide. For those of you who have never seen that, or don't know what it's like, trust me on this: it's something that you never want to see. And if you see it once, that's what you hope it'll be: once. For those who have dealt with this, you're not alone. But Eric and Dylan's parents, this was not just a suicide. This was a massacre and a suicide. The shock and devastation must be
terrorsquadlith. the bullies and their parents are culpable to an extent, yes. bullying itself is a type of psychopathy no one wants to address. then take into account the fact that school officials did nothing to stop the bullying and nothing to protect the targets. Another form of mental illness is to have knowledge of children being abused/assaulted/harrassed on a daily basis and do nothing. that's called being an accomplice. it's also a crime. the very job of the adults involved was to ensure the safety of all the children, not just the kids of powerful people in the community and to hell with the other kids. when something boils over, ah well, it was a coping problem by the perps, that's all, nothing more to see here..... I don't think so. there's a lot of responsibility not being appropriated and I wonder why. there's also many inconsistencies with the official story, few straight answers. Eric was allegedly raped by a member of the police department, perhaps more than once and not sure but may have involved other law enforcement officials. so, of course he had little trust in going to them for help. I don't condone what happened and wish none of this ever happened, but I can't overlook that this was preventable. perhaps the parents truly didn't know, but people at that school, officials and fellow students, did know! jokes were made about Eric being sexually assaulted, and NO ONE stepped up to help those kids. ah well, they were weird, bullying is normal, teachers never intercede unless your parents hold power in the community, it was all on eric, dylan and potentially others involved in the attack. psych meds played no part whatsoever, that's impossible. everything was lily white clean and normal and it had nothing to do with any other factors at all, ever, case slammed closed. move on. hope everyone is good with that explanation and please don't be shocked should this happen again. If I was aware of what was happening, I would immediately contact the parents of Eric and Dylan and tell them pull your kids out of that school, your sons aren't safe there and the school officials are aware of the problems and won't do anything. I'd also contact the other parents of bullied kids and tell them the same thing. that could have been a publicity nightmare that the community would have to address and perhaps a productive solution could have been obtained, but no. it's far easier to do nothing. it's always easier to do nothing. then scratch your head and lament how you can't comprehend such a violent outcome. all the while people in that school witnessed and took part in violence every day. I guess that's the uncomfortable part, no did anything to stop what was occurring and then couldn't stop what ultimately occurred.
Um, no offence to those who are getting off on Eric and Dylan, but they are dead. I doubt you'd even look at them twice if they were alive and walked down the street, plus they, y'know, killed some people - they are not coming back, okay?

@6adassChick Have you ever been in total emotional shock? Reality doesn't sink in right away, and you cling to familiar routines to preserve any shred of normalcy. It looks pretty cold, yes, but neither you nor I know what was going on in that woman's mind or heart. She was probably just trying to keep herself sane.
Like many others, I thought that there had to have been something very wrong in those boys' homes for something like that to happen. I've only started to recently read about Columbine and, while I'm seeing things that both Dylan and Erics' parents could have done differently, there is nothing that I have seen so far that would lead me to blame the parents for what happened. They loved their kids, they were involved parents, their kids were busy with school, PT jobs, they had friends. The same thing can be said for the school, I just do not see how the environment at the school was so toxic that Eric and Dylan felt compelled to randomly slaughter their classmates. None of what happened made a bit of sense. Dylan and Eric were not victims of external forces, this evil came from within.
Eric & Dylan were most def victims of external forces, They were not born evil. When Eric was in NY the kids accepted him for who he was. he wrote the sweetest things in friends yearbook before moving. you could tell he was actually Sweet, loving, Appreciated people & seemed happy. The min. he went to Columbine he became a completely diff person. so hateful & evil. There's a Video of Dylan & Eric walking in the hallway laughing & talking. There was a group of "popular" kids & the min they passed them they looked down & stopped laughing & talking, Theyre vibe completely changed. Dylans early journal writings were very sweet, self aware & wanting love. Dylan was very personabl, helpful & known to make people laugh & had no problem speaking to anyone kids still rejected him. not condoning what they did its still fuck you forever they killed kids who didnt even bother them but they were most def bullied
There were external forces like the school culture based on discrimination and bullying but the main forces came from within. They both had personality disorders. Eric was a psychopath and Dylan a borderline. They intoxicated each other with their stored anger and Eric intoxicated Dylan's permeable and unstable personality which is typical in BPD with his own prejudices and absolute hate against society.
I feel bad for their families. I did a report on the two boys and honestly, I think whether or not they tried to control Eric and Dylan, these guys were adament on doing what they did. There's nothing that could have stopped them. They were way too disturbed. And I think it's horrible that people tormented the families. They lost a child too, it was still their baby and they weren't always bad. They didn't come out worshiping Hitler. And this is something the families will have to live with.
I ain’t saying what they did was right but why not specifically go after the people that bullied them instead of random innocent students that had nothing to do with bullying.
Their parents missed the signs of their kids struggles and depression. The school failed them as well because if they was being bullied why didn't anyone step in and do anything before Dylan and Eric made such a disastrous decision?
Dylan’s mom said they never noticed anything, sadly. But for Eric he was on anti depressants so they must have known at least something. The parents would have been the ones that received the multiple police reports against Eric about his website where he threatened people...
really pises me off everyone kicks up a stink about goths in high schools what about the big popular jocks, preps and cheerleaders who bullied students? oh no not the preciouspopular atheletes heaven forbid

It is what bullying does to a person. He deserved more than that but he should never have done what he did. I cry for the boys, the parents of the boys, the kids and teachers in the school, the injured, the killed, the family of those injured and killed.
Things like this just should not happen. Ever.
@6adassChick No She works there, They were interviewing her coworkers.
@scorpianofthesun beyond gut wrenching.
I feel just awful for all the parents involved.
It was just start to finish horrific, starting with the victims and their families. Harris and Klebolds families are victims too, they also lost. It is why the USA needs gun control, no guns, no shootings.
I feel bad for the boys. They didn't deserve this.
+Maxmilian Dove dafuq are you talking about
neither did the victims.
Carol Rezende
No I don't read books from people that went to high school or were related in some way to the killers.
So Eric probably got turned down because he was a fucking weirdo and everyone knew he had issues
Here's some references:
www.psychologytoday.com/blog/keeping-kids-safe/200905/columbine-bullying-and-the-mind-eric-harris
www.policeone.com/active-shooter/articles/7094927-Looking-into-the-minds-of-Eric-Harris-and-Dylan-Klebold/
The articles talk about how Dylan was depressed and had aspirations, and how he would've been so much better off without that asshole Eric.
Eric harris and dylan klebold were bullied base from they're journals, even students witness them being bullied, even Brooks Brown seen them being bullied, even 1 of the jocks admit that he bullied eric and dylan.
They look evil ! And scary
Who?
But earlier in the Columbine years Eric was as small as five foot seven, remember they were teens and sprouted a lot in the few years but Dylan was always tall.
@pinkypunxy I hate what they did too, not the boys themselves. And I am too wondering how the parents, or really anybody else that were very close to these boys didn't notice anything.
How much taller was Dylan than Eric?
Kevin TenEyck, they weren't bullied no more than anyone else. Get your facts straight. That wasn't the reason.
They weren’t bullied. Eric wanted the whole human race dead...his school would just have to do
@@nicolelylewis they were bullied
@thisphotoisproof Because in Eric's diary he talked about how the kids a chance to notice him, but they didn't.
This was on my birthday. (April 24th)
Repping plattsburgh!
@guitar241990 I agree with this. Bullying is wrong, it hurts people, but to do what Dylan and Eric did was not the right way to handle bullying.
Good piece... so baffling😑
woa that pic and the end is just........well scary
YES
There so many dysfunctions in this case ...
Dylan Klebold, we love you.
Carlos Núñez :(
And Eric Harris❤️😢 Poor boys😢😢😢❤️❤️
Hillary For Prison you will be there too :)
they where mentally ill
Yes!
@TimeHookey actually that was cassie bernall
@quasiphatpaul I think he meant that they would have attend College if they didn't do what they did. I would have loved to have seen what they did with computer games. It's too bad they did such a terrible act. They could have done so much with their lives.
You can't always blame the parents. Its not always the parents fault; Adam lanza's father is asking "Why" as well.Imagine the hurt the shooter's parents go through, to know your own kid killed so many and then themselves. However some parents are to blame as they don't get help for their kids.
i agree :)
@Paulwhoisvegan two thumbs up to you!
The shock and devastation must be
blame the bullies and their parents
It wasn't the parents. Eric and Klebold were depressed psychopathic.
bulling is pass down from gen to gen
terrorsquadlith. the bullies and their parents are culpable to an extent, yes. bullying itself is a type of psychopathy no one wants to address. then take into account the fact that school officials did nothing to stop the bullying and nothing to protect the targets.
Tyler Zarzycki bullshiiiit
Tyler Zarzycki Eric was psychopathic. Dylan was depressed and suicidal.
@ADAMMANCINO86 They didn't let him in the Marines because he was on an antidepressant.
@BOLSHEVIXTREME you are completly right. OMG they wore black , that was surely the cause of the massacre!
@MultiScrubbs That's true. The bullying does not stop after high school.
Um, no offence to those who are getting off on Eric and Dylan, but they are dead. I doubt you'd even look at them twice if they were alive and walked down the street, plus they, y'know, killed some people - they are not coming back, okay?
Yes
Of course their lives are changes, there kids are dead!
#Hailgrasa
the parents should have been more involved in their sons lives - - and their sons were cowards.
Your a coward. Eric and Dylan are my fucking idols.
Raine Jones are you okay?
Raine Jones seek help if ur honestly idolising school shooters
RIP ERIC AND DYLAN!!!!
People say they don't know we're they got the weapons but they live near a air force
+Sarita Karda They got the weapons from friends
+Danielle Maness From the Tanner Gun Show in Denver.
3 of the 4 guns were gotten by some girl at a gun show. not sure where the 4th was from.
Yeah they totally broke into the air force base and stole the guns -_-
@@ace-x6m crazy that people are this stupid
RIP Eric and Dylan :( We pray for your families and all the victims daily. On April 20 1999 there were 15 victims. Eric and Dylan were also victims. The parents had nothing to do with what happened on April 20 1999. Most of you should watch the movie " Bully" Eric and Dylan were not Gods but they were in pain. May all the families be able to move on and the pain lessens each and everyday .THOSE WHO WANT TO CALL ERIC AND DYLAN NAMES You just proved yourself to be a bully. Congratulations !
this feels like an odd comment somehow
okay.
@Paulwhoisvegan 11 years of college is a bit much. These guys would've graduated HS in the 98-99 school year.
@6adassChick People do and say strange things after horrific incidents and deaths. They do it b/c they they don't know what to say or do but feel they have to say or do something. It usually turns out to be something strange or embarrassing.
@bakedbeansaregood word up to that.
Snow in late April?
I do paranormal investigations I would like to a investigation at the high school to try talk to the ones that die that sad day
heroes all the way
I know that a lot of schools say they don't have bullying, but the people who bullied Eric and Dylan had already graduated.
As much as everyone wants to completely blame the patents it was not them it was there kids! And even if they thought there kids were weird and a bit abnormal I'm sure they never considered there kids to be killers ! Unfortunately they should have seen some signs ! I think that if my son was arressted like they were I would definitely be keeping a close eye and checking for journals & searching his room as an parent who loves there child would! It's to sad! Between them being so bullied and ver
i feel so sorry for the families of the shooters as much as the boys were wrong to use violence their parents lost a child that day too.
@BOLSHEVIXTREME yeah , finally someone who is smart .
And this is something the families will have to live with.
thanks for not cussing and all that. you're the first person who didn't.
If the people they killed didn't pick on them, then both the victims and Eric and Dylan they died for nothing.
I feel bad for the parents and the brother each of them had one brother but I don't feel anything but hate to Eric and Dylan
@jakethegimp haha thanks, I can't believe all these supporters of these two guys man.
austincox23 sick people
@chuck9788 Yes i did, & thousands of people love them because they knocked off people like you.
did anyone else get really creeped out by the last pic of harris and klebold?
america is a crazy place
Soon
I feel sorry for them more this anything
I ain’t saying what they did was right but why not specifically go after the people that bullied them instead of random innocent students that had nothing to do with bullying.
Their parents missed the signs of their kids struggles and depression. The school failed them as well because if they was being bullied why didn't anyone step in and do anything before Dylan and Eric made such a disastrous decision?
Dylan’s mom said they never noticed anything, sadly. But for Eric he was on anti depressants so they must have known at least something. The parents would have been the ones that received the multiple police reports against Eric about his website where he threatened people...
really pises me off
everyone kicks up a stink about goths in high schools
what about the big popular jocks, preps and cheerleaders who bullied students?
oh no not the preciouspopular atheletes
heaven forbid
“They seem normal”
Would Debbie let Eric babysit though ?
@jasonandme1230 will do sweetheart
