- With all the negativity this line has been getting as of recently with the last two releases, Arnes and Steve decided to go over the worst figures that the line has to offer. This list is comprised of figures in Steve's collection which has the major majority of the figures released in the line (excluding a few repaints). Please enjoy!

My only major complaint is the lack of accesaries..
54- should of had a mini Oxygen Destroyer or a mini Dr. Serizawa holding the Oxygen Destroyer
GMK-should of had a heart or the mini submarine General Tachibana was in.
Shin-about 2 or 3 trucks use to shoot the gas in his mouth or maybe some drones.
They should always give us different looking buildings...anyways great top 10..I feel the same way.

I feel like most of the figures are fine without much accessories. Most of the time they stay in the boxes anyways for me :) though an Oxygen Destroyer would have been cool.

It's just very lackluster compared to most other releases. It's not a bad figure by any means.

I remember I was about to pick up the Spitfire Godzilla 2014, but then decided to get the 1964 Emergence version instead. I made a good decision.

Godzilla (1994) has an excuse not to be amazing, he was among the very first of the line.
I can understand G'94's place on the list, but if you pick up the first production run, you might be FAR more impressed. I do own the original production figure with the beam and there is absolutely no gaping whatsoever. Even though the googly eyes are prominent on the figure, they are to be excused due to how new the figure was at the time and the line was new as well.
Great video guys, can pretty much agree that these are some of the weakest in the line. So far I would have to say my least favorite will have to be Battra, just feels way too delicate.

I literally thought the little Godzilla plushy on the left of Arnes had a horn and I was like Steve has a Unizilla? Also the way Gabara Is looking at the 64 Goji at 7:25 is freaking hilarious or just anytime Gabara looks at the figures because when Shin popped out he went derp eyed.

The best Goji in the line is Kou Kyou Kyoku godzilla. It’s a shame that it’s a bit out of scale with the other Heisei monsters (Biollante in specific)

We did a best list too when this went up. More or less I am still on the same list as this video since there hasn't been anything super drastic that I bought that would change this list any.

Subbed, I'm so excited for 2019 Godzilla and Ghidorah, I pre-ordered them and just cannot wait. Kinda glad I haven't yet gotten 2014 Godzilla yet seeing how less accurate he is, but you better believe I wanted one soo bad when I discovered it was coming out four or five years ago now. Your thoughts on Shin Godzilla are my thoughts on King Ghidorah 2019. Also, I'd seriously put Godzilla Junior at number 1.
I managed to fix the Mecha KG jaws but now I have to deal with the loose chest thingy (the closed claw piece)

Speaking of King Ghidorah, I've heard some people saying that when 'Godzilla: King of Monsters' gets released, NECA will get the rights to make figures of King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra, so that should be good.
I'm not to sure since they were not allowed to do the MUTO figures, even though they could do the 2014 Godzilla.

It's hard to choose a least favorite because I also love the line but if I had to choose it would either be rodan or little godzilla just because of their asking price ($160 on rodan and $90 on little godzilla on Amazon) and I know rodan comes with stuff but $160 isn't worth a four inch figure and some beam effects.
True. I tried to take into consideration their original prices when compiling this list, cause to be honest, most of the figures are not really worth hunting down for older releases. Like I love Biollante, but it is not worth the $400 and up it goes for.
Yeah but by the time I knew that Monsterarts were a thing those figures were over priced online and I don't live in an area with comic shops or whatever else you can buy these things
I feel your pain. I've had to order almost all of mine in except for ones I've picked up at conventions and two I've found at a Japanese shop about an hour from my place.

lol My King Ghidorah has a similar problem to your Mecha, but all its heads come off super easily (the air conditioner on the other side of the room blew them off). Now, I'm not complaining too much, I did get a nice defeated king ghidorah figure, after all, but do you know how to fix this?
I have S.H. MONSTERARTS GODZILLA (2014) and KING GHIGORAH but what I don't have yet is MECHA KING GHIGORAH.

Dino Boy 0119 what I did was use a blowdryer on the arm til soft then pop the hand in and leave it til it cools...it worked for me..
I'd try that or add nail polish to the ball joint on the arm.

I was initially excited about the SH line, but when I saw them...I get that folks like articulated figures, but the multiple seams (joints) distract from the figure, generally.

A lot of people's figures are different, it doesn't mean they're horrible.
For example, my Battra and Motha (Worms ver) Are good, but Battra's horn face fail off and a spike. All of Motha's legs fail off, but do I care? No. I like them even if they fall apart sometimes.

my king ghidorah actually came pretty perfect
And my theory is that they made 64 so small because then he'd be closer to scale with Revoltech's kaiju. I've seen pics and he looks in scale with Anguirus, Rodan, and Baragon, and only a little out of scale with Gigan.
Could be, but then I still would have like to have seen them keep up the trend with the 1954 then.
Well we don't see 54 fight any other Kaiju, so perhaps that's why they left 54 at regular size
The Geek Chest I just have one thing to say in the line's defense! they still have the best toys or figures, the paint job can't affect it horribly considering the amazing sculpt ( they always hit the ball out of the park with the sculpt jobs) and neca is their biggest competition and the worst of these is still a far cry from the best neca figure who is probably gmk or grandpa 1954, but... Godzilla: king of the monsters is out in a year or two and maybe that will be a cry of relief! also, remember Nancy Ayotte? ya, that's me, i'm on a different account and yes my shin Godzilla is great! I had a somewhat red neck but my main problem with the figure is they shoved too much articulation into the tail and it is a little faulty but otherwise it is pretty good. p.s I believe a lot of articulation and a fair amount of detail is better than no articulation and a ton of detail so that's why I said neca was their main competition, if you have taken the time to read down here thank you,i'm sure that in the future they will improve
My spitfire 2014's paint job is great, but it is so hard to get the breath on the stand

In my opinion, the worst SHMA figure is their Gigan 2004. I cannot stand the tail on that thing, it just looks ugly. You can't get the spikes on the tail to line up, and moving the tail scrapes the other blades and hurts. (Yes, I said hurts! I cannot recall how many times this thing has made me bleed!) I was lucky enough to only get him for $55. He is now $125 give or take... As for the best SHMA I'd have to go with either Gamera or Gojira '54!
I like the Gigan figure but it is super fragile (which is a problem) I do love the Gamera figure though! We need a Legion figure now!!

Out of all of these, including the ones made up until this year (2022) Battra is my most hated figure. Bad no pose, falls apart if you look it him too much, and his stand is just bad. I don't have Mothra, but as of 2022, it's definitely Battra followed by Biollante to me. I know that sounds crazy but Biollante's tentacle's just fall off so easily for me.
