@Waldel Martell It's hard to compare them, outside arm wrestling for sure it is Levan, but inside arm wrestling almost sure it is Denis.
They are completely opposite sides of the spectrum one is a outside puller and one is a inside puller.
You can also see Denis was way more stronger than Levan on bicep moves because of this very reason, he always was a inside puller.

@@Funnyoutfitkidos Chaffee was not in the form with which he fought with Denis. His weight was also lower when he fought Levan compared to when he fought Denis. Denis noticed this in an interview about their fight and said that Chaffee was not 100% ready against Levan.

@@giulio_yt651 In the end, Denis won. Also, Chaffee was WAY stronger at that time when he played against Denis. Denis eventually reached a higher level of Strength and toyed Larrat like he was nothing when Larrat was superior to Chaffee and humiliated many better armwrestlers at that time. I like Levan but I'd like to know when was the last time he really pulled in elite level matches? Denis was constantly winning world class matches but yet, we almost never see Levan in actual real matches, why? He's extremely strong but don't see him participate in serious matches often enough.. Denis was also a very strong powerlifter with great numbers, he was also good at strongman events, he did many insane feats of strength aswell.
@@AlexyTousignant just remember to seperate left and right arm matches it's no good to compare devon vs Denis and devon vs chaffee they were on different arms. Also pay close attention to the Russians they have a history of stacking the deck

@@mujtaba444 There are alot of non super heavy weights that have dominated for longer than Denis's whole carrear was.
The main reason Denis isn't in contention for GOAT is the fact that he was just a super heavy weight and his career was very short.
Denis was amazing but to be the goat or considered a GOAT he would have had to dominate multiple weight classes for 25+ years, that is GOAT territory.

20.4 inch forearms wtf...140kg curls I couldn't bench nowhere near that and that was all I could deadlift but the way he he was doing it was bad idk too much about him but I won't be surprised if he injured himself a lot...ffs now he's doing it with 170kg I'm surprised he did break his back. Dam I just put in what happened to him and I was right his improper form led to back problems so he had to stop training like that such a shame..
He only had kidney problems, you can look it up on youtube. He was not injured he just had health issues.. probably from substance use

Different years , different styles . This sport gets very technical and you should consider what version of arm wrestlers you are using , for example:
1999 Larrett vs breznk, who won ? Breznk.
2021 larrett vs breznk, who won ? Larratt.
You see it just changes within the years . I’d say Denis faced a stronger version of Dave then Levan did , If we put Prime Denis vs Levan now , ill say it would be very close . Please don’t call people Dumb for no reason . This sport is much more than just strength , it has to do with technique and timing , also stamina .
