Hi David, I'm getting an AquaRO-Aquaversa, can't wait! But I'm moving soon. I see a countertop option on the order page, does that option require no drilling of holes in the countertop? Would it be easy to uninstall it and take it with me when I move? Otherwise I just have to wait till the move is done.

The only RO system I am aware of from Multipure is a below sink unit. RO systems generally do require a hole for the air gap faucet installation. I am not aware of a countertop RO option. Installation is complex, not something to go forward with until you move. I have lots more to share about RO systems that are vital to know--best described by calling me: 781-223-3320

Does the very small one filter out micro plastics?

I just checked for you and happy to confirm that Multipure's Aquamini unit IS NSF certified for microplastics, as are all our Multipure systems. That is a very recent achievement, one of the first systems certified for that contaminant category.
