I don't even own one of these tractors, but for some reason this video is more fascinating to me than all the other awesome videos about standard lawn tractors, and I like those too. There's something about these older farm tractors that just commands respect and admiration. Very cool machines. Thanks! I know International used that same transmission for the cubs, low boys and little cub Cadet garden tractors. I have a CubCadet 122 that needs that exact repair. Haven't opened it up yet but that sure looked simple enough

I have a 184 lowboy with a hi and low range shifter, don't suppose you and Carl can come up with one of those. It doesn't look like the one you were working on had the hi low handle. I know you said this was the 1st one of these you've done, (I tend to doubt that), but it doesn't hurt too bad to ask. Oh, merry Christmas 4 1\2 years later

That's Right Taryl! A mechanic can have an item and figure it out! Hell my uncle has a 1961 Internation 240 Utility, when you cant get parts for a gearbox you weld and machine the original til its stronger than new...unless you wanna push snow instead of lift and dump it, dump bucket works great for illegal parkers too? whoops hit the lever, if you want I can take care of slippers for ya, i mean most slippers are flat anyway!
