Twice the Kings have won the Cup at Staples Center, and both times the Dodgers have been at home. Great night to be an L.A. Sports fan.
Lakers and Dodgers winning in the same month 6 years later
Edit: can't beat that
now it is LA Chargers turn to win the Superbowl
@@princeofdarknessxyz1 RAAAAAMSSS HOOOUUUUUSE
@@princeofdarknessxyz1 LA dont care about Chargers!
@@princeofdarknessxyz1 The chargers are a fake LA team rams all day
"Uh oh. You know what that means..." You got to love Vin Scully. When they cut to the celebration in the concourse.
if Joe Buck was calling that stanley cup finish he would be saying "What a team, what a ride"
And at the end he would say " it's to bad they weren't the first California team to win it"
Haha that's exactly what he said about the Royals last night.
bob called it just as good. he is the voice of the kings i would bring him back if i could.
Joe Buck would just use hisnfavorite adjective “good.” “What a good run by the Kings!”
From a Kings fan, you're the man, Vin! I could listen to him talk for hours. He's a legend, and I hope he gets to call a World Series win soon!
Sadly he left :(
better than bob miller
NO WAY!!! They are both equally great, Vin Scully in Baseball and Bob Miller in Hockey, they are in both of their sport's respectful Halls Of Fame in the broadcasters wing and they are both first class acts, as a Kings fan since 1975 (season ticket holder from 1977-87) and also following the Dodgers since that same time back when I lived in LA (I'm still cheering them both on although I moved to Washington state [Port Townsend] in 1987), there are certain things like never changing your team's loyalty as a fan like you would a zip code. I still bleed Dodger Blue and Kings Forum Blue and Gold, even though we now wear black and silver, so GO KINGS GO and GO DODGERS!!! I have a funny feeling that this time WE WILL win the World Series for the first time since 1988!!!
@@princeofdarknessxyz1 WHO ARE YOU??????? DO YOU HATE HOCKEY?????????
@@RayJacksonbighmw we would have if the astros didn't cheat 👀😐
God bless you Vin Scully. Rest In Peace.
The second base umpire not knowing what's going on cracks me up.
0:09 winning goal for kings... reaction strt in dodgers stadium.
1:53 The fans of the kings celebrate after a walk...
That's awesome. LA love!
Dangit all to heck I miss Vin Scully. Cool of him to give the Kings a shoutout during a game like this. I know he was happy for his buddy Bob Miller.
I think I like Vin Scully's call just as much as Bob Miller's!
Still get those chills watching this. What a cool thing to have Vin call a Stanley Cup win!
Watching this while I'm at home because of Covid-19. I was at Dodger stadium that day. I miss sports
Imagine soon when the Dodgers win the World Series, imagine fans react to that win while there at Staples Center watching the Laker Game or Kings Game.
I'll wear my Dodgers hat and go crazy at Staples when they win the Fall Classic. So proud to see LA fans come together and celebrate victory, whatever the cause.
There gonna burn the place down and not care about the safety of pregnant women reg women and kids and babies there just gonna burn the place down and make it the worst disaster since 9/11
🥳
👋
Imagine that both the Lakers AND the Dodgers win in 2020 yet no one is allowed in the stands because we live in California
They went to a baseball stadium to watch a hockey game.
yea cause the arena sold out.
+ShortDJMINE88 yea but they could've just watched it at home
and if they didn't have tv?
Its cheaper to be with a bunch of Hockey fans and watch the game than go to the actual game
they didn't watch the game, they heard about it and the stadium went crazy
"Uh oh, you know what that means..."
Gotta love Vin Scully
And Now the Lakers and Dodgers have won championships in the same month
Dodgers, Lakers, Kings, Rams #LA
Galaxy too
And Chargers as well
What a great day. First, we have the Kings winning the cup, then we have Greg Gibson, the home plate umpire.
Motioning to both dugouts
Toffoli shot, rebound SCORES! GO KINGS GO! 😭🙌
Umpire was lost as well, he called that strike done the middle a ball lol 😂
This was epic.
Imagine going to a dodger game to watch the kings game
hahaha "Uh-oh, you know what that means..." HAHAHAHA love vin scully , just another stanley cup win for him, lol
"Uh ohhhhh" 👑
What's the song for Kershaw's walk up at 2:11?
Trippy by Antiserum
Who knew that the 2014 Stanley Cup championship game was during a dodgers game?
Funny how people quickly forgot about how the Dodgers were playing.😂
LEGEND HAS IT- THE SECOND BASE UMPIRE STILL DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. 🌴😃🤣😂
0:40 .... The LA dodgers fan, wearing the Brooklyn NY jersey. Celebrating the LA kings beating the NY Rangers
Jwolfe137 and the dodgers celebrating in the dugout
And? I rock a Brooklyn Dodgers hat occasionally. Unlike most teams the Dodgers actually honor their roots and respect their history. I rock one to pay homage to the greats like Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, etc.
@@rebelpunk13 loved dodger because from my home area LA but same man I rock that Brooklyn hat more than I do the LA gotta respect where the team comes from even got my jackie Jersey hanging in my room
@@bryantcuriel1641 💯
Islander fan
1:56 didnt know Rob Kardashian was a kings fan
Would been funny if they were playing the Yankees there.
I was there that day I think
Just curious - why would you be at a live baseball game if you’re hype enough about hockey to be nearly as loud as a home run reaction?
Maybe you bought tickets in advance?
Go LA!
I wonder how many of them even know what hockey is? hahahaha
Hometown support...
RedStormIII there's nothing wrong with supporting the hometown team, even if you aren't a hockey fan
NatureChannelMJTV Never said it was bad. I was just wondering.
RedStormIII shut the fuck up
RedStormIII Shut up idiot !! Of course we know what hockey is !!!!
LA the best city for sports
🤣
💝
tampa*
Does anyone know the song plays at 2:12 when Kershaw comes to bat?
Trippy by Antiserum
La kings
Too bad Scully left 2018?😫😫😫😭😭😭
Lets Go Rangers!
Yup
Yeah such big kings fans they're at a baseball game during the Stanley cup... Lol
Phil S Oh sorry that we have multiple awesome sports teams that we like to watch.
Yea ok but not on a championship night u prefer to see a pre season dodger game over like I said championship game (sarcasm) on the pre season game
Broncos Fo life this was not a preseason game, first off. Second, you can find several dodger tickets online at extremely cheap prices for midweek night game. I'm talking like $4/$5 in that section in the outfield. It's a good view from that bar. Maybe they wanted to go and watch both games, you can. Nothing wrong with that.
You know not everyone in the city can go to the game genius
They do have these things called.......get this.......Television sets. And these "television sets" allow you to watch games from anywhere. Try it some time.
Oh...so "Cash Money" has blocked the ability to reply to his/her "we won it first" post. Three things: 1. "We" BEAT New Jersey. 2. We have one more than you. 3. We went through YOU to get number TWO. You're welcome.
WE IS TO MUCH BUDDY ur a fan u don't put on those blades and skate on the ice u don't get hit hard by the opposing player ur not the one missing teeth ur not the one breaking bones..... Sure ur the one spending the money to watch the game to support the team... Ur just another fan that probably doesn't watch every single game even if u make the excuse that u have a job,,,, that's why they invented apps Internet phones etc...,. Anyways DUCK FANS AREN'T BAND WAGON FANS.... It didnt take out team 50yrs to win it twice (sarcasm) ..... They r always gonna be recognize as the first team in California to have anything to do with the STANLEY CUP..... We r always gonna be in the playoffs ouch does that hurt I know I know ur gonna try to come back by saying they choked in game 7 blah blah ok ok is that ur only comeback.... It's ok if the ducks won the dodger stadium series that should hurt too..... I'm sure dodger stadium didnt sell out that day with full complete seating ..... Do u want me to continue or do u wanna cry now and go look for tiger woods again so u can practice ur golf some more while the playoffs are going on
lol, duck fan salty about not winning coming in to talk
let's be honest, they are not really king fans. they are just drunk dodger fans.
The closest a championship will ever get to Dodger Stadium (unfortunately)
Bullshit
what now huh ?
U sure bud
This didn't age well 2020 champs
@@LADYJAYY19788 Mickey Mouse ring
How can you call yourself a fan but then watch a regular season baseball game over a Stanley Cup final game?
That makes no sense. So you want no one to be at Dodger stadium?
Cause LA fans supper their teams.
cmon its baseball. You can do both. You know TVs will have the Kings game on.
Bandwagoners
Ducks suck lol we got 2cups and we were here first, you ducks came around the 90s after us !
Drandosk I agree with this so much it's ridiculous. Both fan bases are in a non-traditional hockey market that is plagued with bandwagon fans. It would probably be smarter to chill out and team up against the Sharks like we usually do.
I dislike both the Ducks and the Kings, but at least it didn't take the Ducks nearly 50 years to win their first Stanley Cup unlike the Kings.
***** The Ducks also didn't exist back in the days of no salary cap and when the league was dominated by a few select teams for a while. Either way, it doesn't really matter to most serious fans because it makes the success the team's had so much more meaningful. And at the end of the day, 2>1.
Gabriel Horowitz back in the 60's -80's there were lesser teams which gave LA a better chance of winning, but they sucked. Ducks won the first ever Cup for Cali within 14 years when there were 30 teams already fighting for it. Let's just see where LA ends up within the next couple seasons, my guess is at a local bail bond trying to free their players, smh.
Harut Sumbatyan I don't give a shit about your shitty Disney franchise pal. I also don't care that you won a cup before us. I love our history and I love who we are. Have fun losing another Game 7 at home this year.
two teams I hate
And your Rams left Anaheim behind upon return and are full LA
Splash'n'Skillz #37 yea
All those so cal (called) queen fans don't even know wat hockey is or the rules of hockey or even know how to ice skate lol DUCKS WON IT FIRST .... KINGS MIGHT HAVE 2 BUT THE DUCKS WON IT FIRST ..... FIRST IS SWEETER..... DUCK FANS ARE LOYAL AND REAL
Broncos Fo life pathetic
Ok. And they haven't been able to sell out their stadium in the playoffs. So yeah. Also, how long's it been since the Ducks won?
Still one huh bud
Thomas Kirk we'll all be dead before Anaheim wins another cup.
Ducks won it first... Van wagon fans
Ducks can't fill Honda Center in the Playoffs. Empty seats everywhere
Broncos Fo life lmao gtfo...
I envision the Leafs winning the cup soon.
leafyutube not with that shaky defense and shaky goaltending including the spotty scoring their time is soon tho with all that young talent
Second
First
Bandwagoners. Bandwagoners everywhere!
ewwwww
You must live in New York.
Five years ago, 75% of the "real fans" didnt even know LA had a hockey team. Keep your cockiness to yourselves.
5 years ago, Sharks fans didn't have a Stanley Cup win.
And they still don't.....
***** Neither did the kings? You guys couldnt even sell out some of the playoff games this year? "Oh ya we got a stanley cup" ya and it only took 45 years to get it. Give us another 21 years and then you can talk all you want.
Actually we have TWO Cup wins, and we DID have constant sellouts during the regs and the playoffs. You've got us twisted.
I'm not ragging on you Sharks. I honestly hope you guys get one before the Sucks get another! Good luck to your team.
***** Wow a classy kings fan haha, are you one of the rare ones, but i respect you. Thank you and same to you.
momento45 Classy Kings fan? She's calling the Ducks "Sucks", might as well call ur team the "Chokes" as I'm sure she always does when no Sharks fans r around. The "Sucks have had a better overall history than the kings and the very first ever CUP which will NEVER be taken away. So it doesn't matter how many more you get, because we will always have time to catch up, with all the years your team has had before the Ducks. Now as a real hockey fan, I would like the Sharks to take the Cup, but anytime that we get eliminated from the Playoffs, because I do want it to stay in Cali. Peace out!
