Paul is a genius, as others have stated. His ability to bring in so many varied instruments often make his songs so very good. Thank you so much for sharing.
Paul has written tons of songs. He and Art Garfunkel did folk, then Paul went solo, moved into this R&B phase with Still Crazy and Something So Right, then he ventured into Graceland, when he meshed African musicians and instruments, and vocalists, which was a new sound for his standard audience. He is a trend setter. A legend. Have you heard "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes", "So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright", "Gone At Last", so many great songs throughout the decades.
You should check out the version of this song that he did on SNL dressed in a turkey costume. It is priceless.

Great song and one of his best albums. Paul thanked Stevie Wonder for not having put out an album that year so Paul could earn his first Grammy award for album of the year! Bizarre if you like baseball then you would like reacting to a lesser known tune from the same album called Night Game!

Paul writes the songs and plays the guitar, but Art adds an angelic voice and together there are great. Paul, evidently , can sing himself and is incredible.

I remember how upset a lot of his fans were when he went from acoustics only to electric piano, etc. TBH, it took some getting used to. Dylan did that, too. And then I thought about it. Yep, it was time to move on from the folk scene (much as I loved it).
