I have seen the originals and I have to say, I have to admit, The new lead singer is fantastic. I'm not the type of guy that will see a band after they've gotten a new lead singer but this is an exception. They f******g rocked that place.
This Kelly Hanson, the replacement for Lou Gram is fantastic, IMO, he has great stage presence, great voice, and a perfect frontman. Sort of reminds me of Steve Tyler from Aeromith. Although Gram can't perform anymore, this Kelly guy is as close as it gets -"great."
He is fucking awesome, and a great guy. Check him out in his former band Hurricane. He is awesome, humble and has always held Lou Gramm in the highest respects!
After listening to older videos of Hansen and comparing them to his performance in this concert. I can tell a difference WOW ! HE SOUNDS AWESOME!! It feels like the band members arent cool with him ? Its oblivious. It hurts the over all performance. Hansen is a little younger and puts the energy out there. Bandmates you guys are lucky .Alot of other bands with original members struggle to sound half this good . Seriously. And this guy brings it ! Lou was the best no doubt, but he bounced to play with another band . And now hes retired . Kelly is keepin it alive! Rock on ! Check out Rock the Locks 3day festival in Umatilla Oregon on the Columbia River its 2nd year running in Oct 2024. 1st year was a huge success. I wish you guys would come play. Theyre still announcing this years line up... ??

In Australia the tickets for October 2018 sold out standing $200 middle $850.00 and all sold out 5 months before the concert I never see anything like this.
KH is like a graceful leaping lion on stage, his voice is out of this world. Lou was right for that era, and Kelly is perfect for this one.
