Does late ovulation effect egg quality?

Dr advised me letrozole . In first cycle on letrozole , I had mature follicles on day 12 around 20mm with endometrial thickness 4.8mm . I had HCG shot of 5000iu but nothing. In second cycle there was no dominant follicle on day 12 , dominant follicle was seen on cycle day 18 with size 20mm and endometrial thickness 8.4mm trilaminar. I again had HCG shot 5000iu but in vain. I ll be going for another cycle of letrozole but unable to understand why dominant follicle switched from day 12 to day 18. Nd what else medicine should my Dr add to make it more productive. Please guide
Doctor I have hypothyroidism but I take thyroxine for long period but now I can’t conceive for 7 months can it be the reason??
In first pregnancy, I had abortion at 3 months due to blighted ovem. In second pregnancy, I had abortion at 6 th month due to spinal bifida of baby. Can anyone tell me why this happened. Reasons for this and treatment? I am taking folic acid before 3 months of pregnancy also.

Dr can u plz tell me that testing progesterone before the missed period can tell me whether a lady has conceived or not???
Progesterone blood test cannot tell you whether you are pregnant or not
