  • Did you know Seoul participates in siesta hours (aka afternoon breaks) ? Well, Trizzy didn't and had to find out the hard way during her 10 hour layover in Seoul... She managed to find somewhere open for food but it took time off the clock to get back to the airport

That will be unforgettable! I was thinking about taking the bus into Seoul and the train back to Incheon. This will help me to remember to get the card for the train before I leave the airport. Thanks!!

How long did it take to leave the airport and return through immigration/security. I have a 9 hour layover and I’m wondering if it’s worth it to leave or not.

Hi! sorry for the delayed response. The city of Seoul is pretty far from the Incheon airport. After we got off the plane, it took us about 20-30 minutes to get to the luggage storage... this isn't bad but it also depends on the time you arrive ( we arrived in the morning so it didn't seem too busy). With the bus going to the city from the airport, took us an hr and half. since we took an uber back to the airport, it was an hr - and we recommend arriving back to the airport with at least 2 hrs to spare before your next flight.
if you're nervous about going into the city due to how far it is, check out a nearby korean spa - Cimer ... it's closeby the airport. It was our backup plan.
      hope this helps. safe travels!!
      - Trizzy
