Very poigniant film and thank you for making it. This is still quite a thing for us Brits and I sure the Americans, Aussies, Free French, Canadians and all the others who lost people exactly 79 years ago today would think the same. We must never forget those who gave their lives and health for the rest of our freedoms and indeed right to exist.
Thanks for this commemorative video, as if each of us learned about it in school, but we forget that peace is nothing obvious. Nevertheless, we must strive to ensure that such a conflict is never repeated and the efforts of so many soldiers go to waste.
We all know a WW2 history about Operation Overlord. The Normandy landings were iconic in the photos and of course a film shoot of the Normandy landings in Saving Private Ryan.
The sound track "Brothers in Arms" by Dire Straits in a long time favourite of mine...however this setting is the most evocative I have ever experienced. Thank you you for the video, it deserves a much wider audience.

As they say: "Freedom isn't free".

Movies we upload on Wednesday forever, now see a new movie in Tuesday
Today is D-Day anniversary
In memory of the fallen soldiers.
Beautiful road but seems quite close to the sea. If there's a storm from the West and high tide, would they close it off? The houses can't be reached?
The sea is directly to the North
How is accessibility to the other D-Day beaches?
