I think for that “secret room” in the art gallery dlc, they were probably planning on making a little skatable subway in reference to Skate 1, but ran out of time before they barely got started with it, which could also explain all the very lazily placed barriers that don’t even work lol
You can get down to it without glitching theres a subway thing and you just walk down the stairs to it
there is a subway there intentionally made with a rail you go through the station in the park

I may not be 100% correct but the Art Gallery map was a port from the first skate game. I'm guessing they had planned on letting you access the whole map but time restraints and bugs kept them from finishing it all the way. So instead they just blocked it off terribly. I'm sure they knew about being able to get over the fence. Something similar happened to NFS Carbon (another Black Box title)
Yep one of the dev guys confirmed they knew people were jumping the fences the first day the demo came out and they snuck out of the demo area, they weren’t mad because isn’t that kinda what skating is about? Sneaking in areas and finding new spots

The Art Gallery is an Area in Skate 1 if I remember rightly... so what they did was take the original map, cut out the Art gallery area and then just but barriers down. Probably one of the best skate areas in Skate 1...

I love that surreal vibe at the edges of all the maps it feels like a dream. an entire game with that vibe but a bunch of secret spots and shit would be so sick

I just realized that on the art gallery map, when you launched yourself past the fence for the last spot, you go by the old pool spot from skate 2, that's awesome

Look I know where most of the secret spots purposes like the old basketball court was a street spot either in skate 1 or skate prime and there's probably more explanations to other street spots and I'm pretty sure that little orange room was originally a train station and the train station was usually blue or green but I've never seen an orange one pretty odd

I used to glitch up the hill at the art gallery when it was new dlc. It has skateable areas because it was a direct rip from Skate 1's San Vanelona and they just cut it off after a certain point behind the fence to save space and give the player the illusion that there's something far beyond

I want to see videos of people like speedrunning going from one spot of the map to another as quick as possible. Like use the speed glitch to hit crazy gaps and just hit really long lines. I think that would be cool to see some body do crazy long lines and stuff. Just kind of create a big downhill course if that makes sense and try to get somewhere fast and hit gaps maybe put down so ramps to hit big drops. Idk if I explained that well but that's what I'd like to see.

I actually found the secret town outside the carvatron once. Just saw a roof over the wall and speed glitched and landed on the roof. Btw the ground automatically teleports you back to land but it has no collision. You can see that if you try to drop your board on it.

I’m a bit late but you forgot the secret prison at dannyways dlc map
That spot where you built up to get to the basket ball court outside of the map is my favorite spot for out of bounds art gallery. It’s got that nice long ramp with the kicker at the end you can just launch yourself into the street and bomb that whole hill, good fun.
That secret town close to the art gallery is the map for the first Skate game and that secret room is the train station also from Skate that acted as the travel system. So this is really cool that you found these spots.

Hey zexy, do you know about the secret tunnel out of bounds in the art gallery? It leads you to this round about the just lets you roll and roll without pushing lol
What if you do a superdude launch glitch on the 7/10 secrecy one but you do it on the road instead of the sidewalk, I think you might actually make it to the huge room that's blocked off
The second area of the art gallery you had to launch over is an area of skate 1 which seems like they intended on doing old town as a dlc but were shorted the time or money to do so. i recognize the area as two skate spots from one I remember the old pool which isn't included but the mini half pipe area you first skate was just above the old pool in sk81 the other spot i can't remember the name but i remember it vividly. took me forever to get good at it
