The front looks great its simple and you don't have to make it so hard. The simple the better...I wonder can you install a longer gas tank with greater distance. ???

Genuine question, why does the location of petcock matter? If anything, a nice one that screws right into the tank like I’ve seen in the china scoots would be slick. if the valve stops fuel from going backwards, that location seems ideal?
I’m also curious why your carb float bowl would ever become empty regardless,
does it matter if the fuel filter goes before or after the fuel pump?

Such awesome scooter builds! Very detailed and always great parts. I would love to see some videos on tuning your EFI kit that uses a laptop and included software, so i may feel more comfortable getting that EFI kit for my 125cc. I've done some tuning using Hondata Smanager and was wondering if you knew if it was anything like it.

On the subject of forks. Could you not use the forks from a scooter that already utilizes disk brakes? Say from a kymco or Sym or something. Does the honda triple tree and a generic GY6 they have a similar fork diameter?
Yes, you can certainly use forks from another model no problem. Or you can purchase NCY or RRGS forks. But if you do that you with need brake lines, a right control switch, master cylinder, brake disk, different axle and wheel spacers. You can always use the master cylinder from another bike, but that generally don’t look that great. In my option you have two options to do it right. This drum kit, or a full upgrade to disk with all the right part (so it looks nice) you can always do a chuckus front set up, but I wouldn’t. :-)

I have a 2012 150cc chinese scooter that looks like a ninja sport bike. I believe it has the gy6 in it, its been sitting with gas in it .itll start and idle but if i hit the throttle it boggs down , is there a fast way to clean the carb without taking the fairing off and the carb out?

I’m new to the channel. I got a free Honda ruckus, and was wondering how I could tell if it’s a nps50 or gy6 engine?
Sweeet! If you have a GY6 your top speed will be around 55 mph and have qmj157 stamped in the lower right side of the engine. If it’s a Honda Motor it will read Honda on the kickstart cover.
I appreciate the help. Any info on troubleshooting the fuel system? I suspect the fuel pump, but I don’t want to waste money chasing an easy fix.
You should be using BLUE Loctite for stuff like that!
These Rucks vibrate waaay to much! I have had bad luck with blue

oil level u should not screw in oil dip stick
At long as it’s in the grated area. That’s why the grated area is so large so you can check it both ways. Every Chinese manufacturer has there own procedure. I have been doing it this way for the last 17 years with no issues.

Drilling holes in brake lever housing, sounds very safe to me, please dont do something as idiotic as that, just buy levers designed for brake switches, this man should know better, their made of cheap cast alloys that snap very easily when pulling brake lever.

у тебя карбюратор говно с вакуумной заслонкой, поставь нормальный с тросиком, на моём скутере стоит карбюратор PZ30 с ускорительным насосом, он намного лучше того что стоит у тебя you have a shit carburetor with a vacuum shutter, put a normal one with a cable, on my scooter there is a PZ30 carburetor with an accelerator pump, it is much better than what you have
