I'm gonna have to study this real hard. I have another question. When you choose releases ya know the 5 or 6 releases I do maybe 3 for press 3 for zone or if necessary I cut it down to 2for each giving me 2 more to play with andi just wanna know if that balance number is good or should I change it up? Thanks coach 👍
6 is ideal so you don't get read like a book use your favorite releases
learn your facorite releases and when you get them down youll learn how to start pairing them and making them look the same
I think that’s definitely fine if you can understand and play fast. There isn’t really a right or wrong answer it’s more so about if it can be effective, get you open, build off each other and allow you to play fast
what leverage is a db thats about 5-7 yards off would it be zone?
It depends on his eyes- if he’s looking inside at the QB or reading the # 2 WR it can be zone but if he’s in a squared up stance facing you then it’s probably off man coverage
@@firstdowntraining I was looking at my schools film and you won't believe they attack leverage but it just isn't enough it looks like they just force releases
thank you
No problem bro hope this helped!
Is there a way to actually implement these in game? I am learning, but then when game time comes, my mind goes blank on what to do. I know we can't focus on everything when it's game time, but it just seems like I go completely blank. When I'm watching film though, I know exactly what to do.
I will make a video on this! It’s more so about just having a good pre snap process and you almost have to visualize the situations you will be in. When you’re getting ready for a game you should already know what the DBs like to do and visualize that over and over in your head so you can execute a release or move quickly
Since Wr is a fast position you need to learn how to determine everything pre snap
Watch film of the school your going against and study what they do
Appreciate you guys’ responses!
Repetition on the field
how many steps is a 15 yard route or could you mke a chart of how many steps is theroute
Depends on your stride and how long your legs are
Yessir! And usually for 15 it would be 4th inside, that will take you from 12 up to 15
Can you make a video about QBs run the ball
just do it
hhe makes youtube shorts also so check those out but your overthinking it too much you just run the ball if you have to
Yeah absolutely, thank you for the feedback!
Do you guys have any clinics that would be a fit for 11 year olds?
