- Allergic Overreaction premiered in Screamfest 2019. Four friends gather for a weekend long mother of all marathons, "Freddy Vs Jason Fest." Scott brings a plate of cookies, jam packed with all kinds of chocolate, caramel and peanuts! Unbeknownst to Scott, one of his friend's has a severe nut allergy. And after that friend eats MANY cookies, the rest of the group has a serious problem on their hands.

The unrealistic fact that the guy never die and get hideous is related to Freddy isn't it ?
With all the time he spent getting even, the paramedics could've been there and gone. An overreaction is an understatement. Good film, that eye was gnarly.
Writing it was so fun. I kept thinking... "man... this could be over so quickly!" *writes the exact opposite of that* hahaha Thank you for watching! I appreciate you!
This reminds me of when one of my sisters ate a Cookie with nuts, She was fine until someone mentioned the nuts in the cookies.

Yeah Ikr, the nuts would of set the allergy off from the 1st cookie, anaphylaxis.

@@genantamtam9364 Dave didn’t know there were nuts in them when he ate them. He’s a moron. He didn’t care until it affected him. And if you watch it again, Scott, who brought the cookies, tries to mention the ingredients before he eats them. But he’s interrupted.
And those cookies (baked by my wife) are the best cookies I’ve ever had in my entire life!
Friken hilarious couldn't stop laughing especially liked the ending when they stopped the madness with a cookie.

I gotta say, amazing. I love all of the humour aspects to it, as well. The "Will benadryl help" really got me, as someone who has mild allergic reactions to things and constantly carried benadryl with them like an epipen, lol! It gives me a "This Is The End" vibe, but totally different circumstances. Horror/comedy done so right. Loved it.
hahahah Fun Fact: I came up with that benadryl thing on the day of shooting and told Ace to ask Matt for any possible benadryl. And it's for sure one of my favorite lines. These dudes made everything so funny to me. I almost blew so many takes just laughing at them. Thank you Holli!

Not for nothing lol BUTTTTT if you suffer from a severe nut allergy you don't just go and grab a cookie and shove it in your mouth and pray there isn't nuts in it.. You simply ask whoever got made or brought the cookies if there is any nuts or nut oil in them.. So that's the only part that doesn't make any sense lol but other then that great movie and fun concept lol👌🏻🤙🏻

However, the person who plays Oliver is from Jersey. And so is the special effects makeup artist. So there's that!
Yes if in fact you've been diagnosed with peanut allergy but then he would have known there were nuts after the first bite. My suspicion is he didn't actually have an allergy, at least not to nuts but after his experience a year earlier he assumed a reaction he had was to nuts.

In real life, when we actually do it, we make it further than just nine hours! It starts from 8am Saturday to 12 noon Sunday! And we usually end the fest with S’mores!

Very creative! I think the actors probably had a great time doing their parts! In the real world unless you have psychological impairment you are responsible for always checking to see if there are nuts, etc. in the food item if you have an allergic reaction.
