    A little context on the members that left, kin left a few months after there was a conflict of interest between himself and the director that inevitably caused him to leave (not completely sure on the details), valfer left as he's aspiring to be a solo artist so no hard feelings there and soon after gami left, the reason being was related to health issues which i felt so bad about because i wish he was able to stay but he had to leave due to those reasons.

    I love that you are reacting to Alamat! You will see how they develop and grow in their journey, even after losing members. I believe that they honed their skills and abilities even more, as you will see. They are extremely talented! Along with SB19, they are my favorite groups.🤎💙Mo and Tomas are my
    biases. Can’t wait for more Alamat reactions!

    K Bye has been my alarm and ring tone for 3 years.
    And now it is replaced by Day & Night. 😂
    I play the guitar. 🎸
    And Alamat song's has lots of it.
    Since their company, VIVA, has lots of good guitarists.

    Wow - still 9 members.. GAMI is a vocal beast. Valfer has a solo career now. Kit, no info what happened to him after he quit.
    "Kasmala" MV or Wish Bus - still 8 members

      I think I saw somewhere here on Yt, kin released a solo song, he goes by his full name now i think? (Joaquin Canlas ? ) and in the MV, he featured valfer! 🤓😅

    I'm a Bisaya just like Gami & Alas.
    All Filipinos speaks Tagalog sonce its mandatory.
    But the native Tagalog ( Kin ) cannot understand us Bisaya.
    ✨ We, Bisaya, cannot understand the other Filipino languages too but somehow we have a clue:
    We can understand 30% since some words are the same with Bisaya with...
    ✨Hiligaynon ( Valfer )
    ✨Waray Waray ( Rji )
    ✨Bicol ( Tomas )
    We can only understand 5% since only few words are the same with Bisaya with...
    ✨Ilocano ( Taneo )
    ✨Kapampangan ( Jao )
    ✨Zambal ( Mo )

      This is so interesting. It's making much more sense to me now, thank you for explaining 🥰. Officially my language is urdu, but regionally there are probably 15+ languages. And I can understand some but can't structure sentences in order to speak them...which is very weird. And yeah, some, like what you've said I pick up a word here or there.

      @@HurrairaJamal what's difficult with Filipino language is not just about how they don't sound alike phonetically but also we have different idioms and expressions that are culturally different.

      correction: Filipino is a different language from Tagalog. Tagalog is not the official language of the Philippines, Filipino is. Filipino is in fact based from Tagalog vocabulary and grammar, like 90%, the remaining 10% is a mixture of English, Spanish, and other Philippine Languages. So, all Filipinos SPEAK Filipino, not Tagalog. All Filipinos CAN understand Tagalog, mostly, but not all words. Tagalog does have different words from Filipino. for example,
      paaralan = eskwelahan = school
      aklat = libro = book
      silid-lutuan = kusina = kitchen
      hapag-kainan = lamesa = table
      bughaw = asul = blue
      suminsay sa liknayan = nalabanan ang physics? = defied physics (kasmala lyrics lol)

    Omg. You are so good to spot that similarity in Maharani's steps and the last part of this MV. These dances, Singkil (which was used in Maharani) and Tinikling (Kbye) both use bamboo poles that's why they have similar footwork.

    If you want to see them as 9 members. They did 2 cover songs before their debut. You can also react to that.
    1. Di tayo pwede
    and
    2. Wala na bang pagibig. ❤❤

    i'm not sure if it is possible for someone to know all of their languages 😅All filipinos know how to speak filipino (which is largely based on tagalog), so people from the manila area or the tagalog regions can usually only speak filipino/tagalog and english.
    people from the visayas (middle) and mindanao (south) areas usually speak bisaya (like alas and gami, a former member). other islands or provinces also have their own language like R-ji also speaks waray-waray and because his province is in the visayas area it's similar to bisaya and he knows a bit of bisaya also.
    Taneo speaks ilocano which is spoken in the northern part of the country. Jao speaks kapampangan which is spoken in the central region area somewhat near manila, and Mo's family speaks Zambal which is spoken by a tribe native to their province (which is near where jao is from also).
    i hope that's somewhat understandable 😅 but basically if someone is from outside the manila or the tagalog region areas then you can expect them to speak 3 languages (their language, filipino, english) while people from manila or the tagalog region usually speak only filipino and english 😅😅😅

    i think you will enjoy the Alamat and thyro alfaro live performance of the song Litrato, meaning photograph. Thyro Alfaro is the song writer/ singer who wrote a couple of Alamat songs, Maharani and the newly release one Day and Night. You should check out these songs if you have not yet. Thank you so much for the RV and supporting Alamat. I stan this ppop group the best. I just love their songs and sound so much.

  • @espiyaako

    For me, this is still their best song. And the best debut song among ppop groups.

    Hmmm, maybe I can help with the pronounciation of Jao's name. Ja is pronounced like Ja in Jam and O like oww. Ja+oww= Jao. I hope that helps.

    Great video!
    You may like their cover of another Filipino song called Porque. It has a slow r&b / jazz / acoustic feel to it. I think the rest of the members were still there.
    This song is a mix of tagalog and Chavacano (which is Spanish based Creole)

    Alamat is really good. I think they're next to SB19. SB19 is my no.1 favorite and then Alamat, VXION, Eclypse, pluus, believe, G22, first one, etc.

  • @alibinqauizhiersarapuddin7860

    If people consider spanish and Portuguese as 2 different languages then bisaya and tagalog and other Filipino "dialects" should be consider as languages
