These two bluegrass legends made it to the stage in Jekyll Island, GA after flying to and from JD Crowe's funeral together in Lexington, KY earlier that afternoon. It's a wonder Paul Williams wasn't top of bluegrass. Like Doyle Lawson, Ricky Skaggs, and many more. He has a beautiful voice.
I believe when Paul left Jimmy he never sang again until the reunions in the 80’s and then later made the Victory Trio. So that’s probably why he missed most of the popularity
