To other Single Christians: trust that God has someone planned for you in HIS timing. Some of us are also destined to be single like Paul forever, but we need to rejoice that God is our eternal commitment! Let’s stick together toward God and His love, no matter what our future holds.
“Manifesting” things into existence is clear New Age/Occultic practice and Christians should stay FAR AWAY from anything remotely related to those satanic practices. Sure, it sounds good on paper, but Satan disguised himself as an Angel of Light. Don’t fall into his trap. Trust God

I have been getting a lot of these supposedly motivational clips on my feed about manifesting and it sounded good on paper but my gut was instantly thinking there is something off about this approach like my soul knew before my brain that this was anti God in its own way.Soooo glad to hear why it is wrong, Thank you!

So basically if it's God's will for us to be miserable or sick we should accept it? But at the same time he says anything we ask of him in Jesus' name we shall receive? How would you reconcile that?
Sin is the reason why sickness is something we as humans have to endure. God doesn’t owe us anything, we owe HIM everything. He died on the cross for our sins, so that we can have eternal life. Be blessed and rejoice that you’re going to heaven.
One of the fruits of the spirit is “Long-Suffering”, and it’s bound to happen if you’re longing for a partner. Sometimes God’s answer is No or “not right now” to the things that we desperately want. In our time of singleness we must love Christ more than a relationship with someone on Earth. I really hope and pray that you’ll find someone and trust in His plan for you. It’s not easy, I get it. But we’ve got this!
When you dig at the roots of misery, you often find that you (usually not by choice) are the source. I find that putting forth positive thinking to others, I start to positively influence my own heart. Being the rout of one's own misery is most likely not their fault, but a biproduct of environmental preconditioning induced by/in upbringing. A certain childhood will teach the brain to behave a certain way.
So for those who have depression or just feel bad I recommend paying more attention to how you treat your environment (people, life in general) and you will begin to realise that your feelings have likely effected how to treat others, your environment, and/or yourself. This is often unbeknown to the victim, and the victim does not realise that they're doing that. You also can not be blamed for not knowing because the brain's way of operating is against you in this case.
(The above is only theoretical. Don't quote me on any of this because I am just a novice when it comes to social psychology, or whatever it is called)
The simply way is to just ask God to help you through your misery, and be honest with Him. Don't be afraid to say that, "Lord, I don't know how to trust You." I don't know either, and asking Him to teach your to trust Him will benefit you more. Don't be afraid to say names either.
Question, can you guys talk about how to deal with “weaponized incompetence”, and behaviors that may come up in marriage. I am single and afraid to be with someone who does those types of things.

When you say God knows all the outcomes of our lives, it’s confusing because to me it feels like I’m in control
Well you still have control or else we wouldn't be able to sin... god isnt in complete control because he chose to let us be free. So what you do changes the outcome of your life. If you never work to achieve something no matter how much you pray to god you wont get it.
@@FLopesVieira thanks for replying, the lines I was thinking along were that I was wondering if God had sent women, potential spouses into my life. Because I was told that by my deliverance minister who knew from the Holy Spirit, and it was all accurate. I told her about a dream I had involving my dads friend. And she said he put a curse on me to not be able to talk to women and to be afraid of people. And he did this when my dad passed away. The reason he didn’t like me was because he saw my dad one time after I’d beaten him up for smashing the tv and my laptop… but yeah. He had put a legitimate curse on me and we broke it in Jesus name. I didn’t tell her a word about how he feels about me, she told me that he’s very mad at you and cursed you. And it worked because from 2019 when my dad died onwards I was scratching my head why I would jump if anybody came around the corner at the grocery store and why I could barely force myself to shop, couldn’t go anywhere and my heart would be beating if I’m in public. And I couldn’t talk to women even the times where it was a perfect opportunity and she seemed to really want me to. So what I’m saying is that did God put these women infront of me even though I had a curse on me so it was impossible to talk to them? I did talk to one girl but the way I think the curse was, was that I couldn’t talk to girls ongoing.
I feel like if you're Christian manifesting will not work.
