The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

Your making the positive claim a god exists, not me. Cliffe can come out with all the assertions he wants, he can't back any up. The truth is what the facts are and a divine jesus existing as an historical person is not a fact.you have a book which is the claim, Like I asked, does Jesus speak to you? What response do you get from him? If it's a case of 'you just know' ok Zac. It's all about what you can prove, how much of it is faith? As if I'm having a go, it's intriguing, I knew a Christian who said her relationship with God was as real as her talking to me, when I asked her to go into detail she funnily had to leave. Why?
I forgot to answer what I'm living for, well to enjoy my life as much as possible, time with family, praising an Imaginary friend doesn't quite work for me.

Though clearly you don’t agree. So let me ask you this then. What is your motive to replying to these comments? If we’re wrong, what’s the consequence, nothing. We will have lived a lie and then we die, right? So what is your motivation for even talking to Christians when you are convinced we are wrong? I would say I think it’s because you have doubts and you are subconsciously suppressing them by making fun of religion. Correct me if I’m wrong. But if you can undeniable prove there is no God I’ll take back everything I said. Otherwise your faith is just as blind as ours is.

@@rob-890first off if god created the universe with a purpose in mind then anything that serves that purpose is the objective truth of the universe. So if we are created by god then his subjective truth is our objective truth bc he made us with a purpose in mind. As for your second statement. Why does a doctors truth trump yours? Because he knows more that you and is in a better position to make a case as to how to keep you alive. Hell is a choice that can be easily avoided. Bc it all comes down to what you do not what God does.

Objectivity is not dependent on people agreeing on it. That's the very definition of objectivity. Gravity objectively exists and will pull you to the ground. If you had a society that sincerely believed they could fly, that doesn't mean gravity ceases to be true. That's objectivity.

I understand what you mean, I think this guy is really talking about is morality and how people may culturally determine things as objectively true, but it really is subjective.
(The act of abusing a child for an example is not seen as abuse in some areas of the World, but as child rearing. While physical correction isn't wrong, there is a point where it goes too far.)
So then how do we determine what is objectively moral? Does everyone have to agree on it? From a normal human perspective, most people can agree that beating up an old lady is wrong. But then what if in some random place in the world it's a rite of passage when you get to a certain age to get beat up? Does that then make it right for those people? No. So then we have a problem because we can not have subjective or objective morality, it's really the same thing.
The true objective morality, is not objective at all, it's from God.

At its core, morality is human-centric, so we can start from there.

God is the standard of morality. Because the standard is unchanging and true at all times in all cultures, it is objective.

Thank you Cliff. I’ve been a Christian for years. I’m a hot head, just like my name sake. But through these videos I am learning how to share the truth of Jesus in a respectful, insightful, and most of all, a loving way.

The earth is spherical objectively, even if everyone doesn't agree. Objectivity is based on numbers it's based on truth outside of individuals.

I have been a believer all of my life. This is something we have needed for a very long time. Some one who is both educated and learned on the subject of religion. A person who not only spreads the word of God but does so in today's society while not allowing it to change you or the message.

Hey man. Very good. Wow, those people are so deceived and so messed up. Why would anyone think that abusing a child would be OK. Why would anyone think abusing another person, whether they’re a child, an adult, an old man, a young woman, whatever, why would anyone think that abusing another person is OK, not just children! The Bible says to love one another, and when you abuse someone, you’re not loving them! We are all made in God‘s image, we all have value, and we all deserved respect! Abusing someone degrade them in value, and it’s also disrespectful. And it’s a sin, it’s not OK, no matter what any liberal person says, it’s not OK, and it never will be. I pray, for those were deceived by this idea, that is OK to mess with children, or any human being on this earth, I pray that they repent and turn their whole heart to Jesus Christ, they’re true creator. Because at the end of the day. That’s the person who’s going to look them in the eye, and say depart for me you that work iniquity, because they didn’t choose Christ. There is objective and subjective. objective objects to opinion or feeling because it simply is that’s why it’s objective because regardless of ANYTHING it simply IS. Subjective is subject to the independent observer which means it is a perceived reality due to the orientation of which it is being observed but one can perceive something one way without it being true this doesn’t mean one’s subjective reality isn’t true what it means is, is that there’s a bigger objective reality that doesn’t change no matter the perceived reality or the subjective view point.
So if the objective never changes than that means someone subjective reality is not true

The pre-tribulation rapture and 1000 year reign is a new theory. It is bogus.
I could go on about it but the video "will there be a rapture?" by OrthodoxKyle gives a succinct rundown on it.
Sorry I know you didn't ask lol... but I would strongly encourage you to look into orthodox theology. Patristic Faith, Church of the Eternal Logos and Jay Dyer are three channels I highly recommend for learning more about it.
I started searching for God 6 yrs ago and wasn't satisfied until last year. It was because I needed foundation, the church, and I wasn't seeing the fullness of the faith in protestantism/catholic institutions or theology. Throughout those first 5 years God allowed me to see exactly how western Christianity was not the church and not an option. Orthodoxy was revealed to me when I was ready for it and I've never been so certain about anything.
Please do look into it and be wary of attachments to ideas like the rapture and whatnot, they are falsehoods and serve as distraction from the practice of faith and worship.
Christ said no one knows the hour. Be focused on God's good character: who He is and what He's done. If you're focused on the end, then you're distracted from the glory to be had for God now.
We were set apart by grace through faith to glorify God. And God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him. Share the love of Christ, that is the Gospel for His name's sake. The great commission wasn't for a select group of people in the church, it was for the church as a whole.

Because objectivity has nothing to do with personal belief. Objectivity is looking for facts and logic. It's unusual for a while society or group of people to be wrong but it happens.
Good is a God of logic, reason, and wisdom, so it stands that the doctrines He espouses would follow logic. This is made better that He is a God of good, light, and order. It is all for good, there is a system and it all makes sense, and you can learn it for yourself. The very first part is coming to know God through prayer; talking with Him.
