I am amazed how you do all of this on camera. I would have burned myself on that iron at least 2 times. Very sweet project. Great gift idea.
LOL, I just watched it back and seen how close that iron was LOL...but it is all good; it actually looks closer than what it was, hun, and if I get too close, I can feel the heat from it...it takes a lot to get used to the camera, I have little marks now on my mat, so I know where to have my project...I am terrible at times for doing things off-camera even after all this time

Another great project Nicole! I have some placemats that my grandmother quilted and a few of them are stained so I was going to get rid of them, but now I am going to try turning some of them into baskets!
