Long time defender owner here. Looks like a solid base as you say. Need to sort any leaks and condensation as that will ruin any fancy gear you put inside.

When you get the red Def 90 and sell it, I just saw the look on your face when you talked about it! I feel sorry for him that he has been in this state for a long time, the issue needs to be resolved with him once and for all!

A nice wee project and another fine video. Ive always wanted a defender since i fell in love with the NAS 90 when they were released but could never justify or afford one. Just bought my first for a song... a 93 Lreg 200tdi truck cab project ...she needs a bulkhead but is on a Marsland chassis already and starts and runs..that NAS90 is coming !😉
(0:50) PF51XOL is 2002MY CONISTON GREEN LRC 673 (pre-1998MY is LRC570).IVORY WHITE LRC 354 roof and Rims.
PF04LHA is 2004MY BELIZE GREEN LRC 756 (Replaced Coniston in 2003MY)/IVORY Roof and Rims too.
Why not make it 3 defenders got a lovely 2005 td5 130 with 74 thousand miles very standard in similar condition to your new one 😂
Defender my favourite 4x4 ever, I do though prefer the 110 to the 90, hopefully one day I'll have my dream vehicle

Check the red plug that goes in the ecu for oil ingress down the harness
I would like to see a puma dash conversion and air con OEM buttons etc for the G wagon look and feel, I know the heater won’t fit in the current bulkhead along with the gearstick, but would be nice to see how Juice can tackle it
aha i saw these on ebay when I was on the search for my first land rover genuinely considered buying the 2 to sell one and keep the other it looked like that good of a deal then thought better of myself to buy 2 landys when i hadnt even owned one yet. really happy with the one i bought instead
The paint code is on the metal plaque at the top lefthand corner of the engine. Coniston green is 637
