This kids confidence level is through the roof!! Seems like a great individule, and wish nothing but the best for these guys regardless what team drafts them!
Very promisive player, lot of pros. Some cons but that is something that can be improved. His presence on ice is overwhelming at the age of 18 he dominated against world class defenders at OG/WC. And very relaxed yet mature personality unusual for someone at his age. His attitude towards media makes him an interesting article. Whoever picks him is getting a very comprehensive package.

As a Slovak, I want him in NJ, not in Montreal. The pressure of being taken by Montreal is something that is not needed for anyone, especially for 17y.o. kid. Added pressure for being a number one spot. And I do not understand this American obsession with draft and high spots. I mean it is more about what a guy does on the ice after the draft not about from which position he is picked.
agreed. As a habs fan, obviously Im glad we're getting top pick but even if they picked later Id be just as excited to see who they get. If habs pick turns out to be not the "best player" they will be criticized for it forever because thats just how pressurized this market is. Theres always going to be something to critique. There are so many great players drafted later that sometimes turn out to be much more of an impact than earlier picks. Look at Detroit getting Zetterburg and Datsyuk....absolute under the radar. I find those are the more exciting picks because they were so hard to find rather than the easy picking, sometimes overrated players. Whoever gets drafted by habs will need to have unbelievable thick skin while being "#1 pick".
