David Lindley at the Rockpalast, Metropol in Berlin 11th of March, 1981. This video is from an old VCR-recording from swedish televison I just saved, so hence the quality or lack there-of.
The song title is just "Rag Bag". Written by Bob "Frizz" Fuller, who also write She Took Off My Romeo's, Tiki Torches at Twilight, Texas Tango, and if I remember correctly, Talking To the Wino, all of which David recorded on the first three El Rayo X records. I remember an interview with Lindley where he talked about someone he knew having brought Frizz over to Dave's house, and Frizz sat down at the piano and played 40 or 50 of his own songs while David just sat there listening and looking on in astonishment, with his jaw having hit the floor and staying there. David also mentioned another Frizz Fuller gem, a song called Goofballs On the Range, which unfortunately David never recorded as far as I am aware, but I sure would be curious to hear that one!

I thought I'd changed it, darn. Thanks!
Very good information! Thank You!
Thanks for the info
You're probably right. I just recorded it and later fell in love with this song.
The first time I saw and listened to Davis Lindley 🥰
My personal favorite Lindley song.
Oldie but goodie .
So true, I play it daily in work (bus driver).
❤
David is a legend now . Kinda like RY Cooder . Everyone knows but nobody knows .
And they played together. Their version of "Mercury Blues" is a blast.
Isn´t this the Loreley-version?
I´m absolutely sure it is!
I remember the intro, because I almost stopped my recording N 4515 on August 28th, 1982.
Must be the Loreley close to the Rhine. Rock Palast on WDR. I remember that some later I bought the records.
Im from ´Germany, neer Colon, know the Lpreley very well, thouth the same, have the CD ,but it gave 2..in Berlin and Loreley,@@gellieboersma4869
I had 2 LP´s and gave them away...for what i know it is not that many of the El Rayo-x???
If its not too late (ha) ask for them back
That is true, I've searched for more albums, but to no avail. And the TPB hasn't got all. (Don't like them either).
