The thing about shutter angle is that most people (aspiring filmmakers) are just assuming that you HAVE to keep it at 180D because otherwise it will look bad. So they just completely banning the shutter angle from the exposure options. But the truth is that you should always try before shooting the scene. If you have enough light to play with/control to get the image that you want/need, then keep it at 180 (unless you actually want snappier/blurrier motions). If you feel that you can't really get the proper DOF that you need for the scene, or that the image gets too noisy and you're losing too much dynamic range because of a higher ISO value, then you definitely should test different shutter angle values and see if it could work, or at least choose what combination gives you the best results. Sometimes, you may choose to sacrifice proper motion blur for a cleaner image, sometimes not. It also depends on the duration of the shot (the viewer may not notice blurrier motions on a 2 sec shot, but may notice a noisier image). So yes, don't be afraid of testing before shooting, you may be surprised of the results!

Lets explain human lifetime: 0 - 12 years = innocent childhood, 13 - 19 = teenage years, also the start of the age of responsibility. 20 - 60 yeas = Active adulthood and 60 - 120 = old age. So? When we die as children 0 - 12 years = not dying in sin and no going into torment, but immediately in the precent of GOD. When we die as teenagers (13 - 19), it`s the time to START TO COME TO REPENTANCE or when we die, we are at risk of dying in sins and going down to torment. When we die as ADULTS (in 20 - 120 years) and not come to REPENTANCE, and IF WE NOT AVOID SINNING AT ALL COST then we are 100% at risk of going to burn in THE LAKE OF FIRE. Therefore the age of responsibility starts usually with the age of 13 and yes there will be some special cases when there the age of responsibility never accrues. But stating that it can be even earlier then the age of 13 - it probably ain`t true. czcams.com/video/eCZOh25vrKs/video.html czcams.com/video/O7AIngqGQoI/video.html
The secret of life: no man nor women ever had the power to voting. And both of them still don`t have it. That power was never given to mankind. Only thing that they did give us was just an illusion of we having power. Kids = coats and Child(children) = little human being. Start to understanding the power of the words and the different meanings these carry. Therefore do not mate with big goats ( non humans) and you never get kids, mate humans and bring forth CHILDREN.
“Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.”
      Proverbs 13:11 (KJV)
Accepting the truth: It is not hard for those who have been raise in truth, it`s very hard for those who been comforted with lies while they grow`d up. Sadly many amongst us have been comforted with lies their whole lives.

Thank you so much for all the tips and content!
Just two days ago i worked as a cinematographer in short film directed by a friend of mine. It was our first "real" experience because we've never worked before with profesional actors, cinema lights, etc. We've been learning all by our self lol
One of my mayor problems was exactly what you mentioned about the blocking. I was just waiting for the director to do the blocking so i could light up the scene because i didn't want to "change" the director's vision.
It's nice to know that as cinematographer i should be able to make some of this decisiones every now and then.
(sorry for my english hehe greetings from México)

I'm a total beginner, learning with an EOS-M and magic lantern, also have a BMPCCOG that I fiddle with. But the EOS-M gives me the options to really tweak things like shutter and dealing with low light and noisy footage, I figured some shots, if they were still enough, I could just drop the shutter to 360 and have that extra stop of light. Thanks for confirming this is a technique that people may use. I am also exploring shots that appear to be night shots, but instead using a higher kelvin / bluish white light to light the scene, and darken it in resolve. Saw another video about how filmmakers use this technique to avoid that inevitable low light grainyness.

The warning are echoing around the world , yet still there be many ears that do not hear. Isn't that heartbreaking?
THE SUN AND THE MOON ARE IN THE SAME SIZE: Never have any of you heard the story about the sun and the moon meeting was is once a year or once every 4 - 5 -10 years? - (i do not remember that story 100% correctly, but little i do remember) anyway, when both meet, the sun and the moon, they fitting together perfectly. - The story went like this.
Forever with out HEAVENLY FATHER, never departing again - what more can a SOUL ask for?
      czcams.com/video/eCZOh25vrKs/video.html
      czcams.com/video/O7AIngqGQoI/video.html
Now why do they lie then? - and is it the government that lies or is them only a play-dolls with mind that`s deceived too? And who is the one that does the lying? - LUCIFER IS THE DECEIVER - he deceive all: rich and poor , small and great. - yes, the governments all around the world are just play-dolls with deceived mindsets on their own. - They lie because they believe the lies themselves. (a deceived mind ain`t sharing truth) and they serve their master : the baphomet - the devil = LUCIFER. Why Lucifer deceived us? - Because he hates us, - He wants to be god himself, - He`s future is in the TORMENT (THE LAKE OF FIRE) and he knows it and he ain`t planing going there alone with only the FALLES in compony, he wans us there too and sadly many will go there to be tormented day and night FOREVER.
      Acts 18:9
“Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:”
      King James Version (KJV)
There was never a right to abortion a another souls life away. None of you don`t want to become parents - then do not have sex. - that`s easy. Yes. all are called to be healthy and multiply, BUT it is not something we all must to and all the time. There`s no such thing as one true love - we all build it up and keep it up, since most humans born healthy enough - therefore we all are replaceable and unreplaceable at the same time.
“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
      Genesis 8:22 (KJV)
