I can hardly think of anyone who could play outside quite like Michael. Herbie likes to do it from time to time and he does it tastefully. But I cannot think of anyone who does it with such depth, takes you out on a journey so far away outside the key, brings you back into it only to take you outside again and ultimately bring you back just at the right moment at the right place. Thank you, Michael, for that indescribable trip. Miss you. My eternal admiration.

@@jimmyalsaxo Hey, I'm not quite sure what happened here, it seems I either forgot to send my first comment, or it got removed somehow. 3sat is a German public broadcaster. Public broadcasters in Germany offer a service where you can request recordings from their archives. As far as I understand, 3sat broadcasted at least 90 minutes of this concert, and more from JazzBaltica 2003 in general. Unfortunately there is no official "shop" for such archive recordings, so you have to contact the broadcaster and ask them if they have the recordings still in their archives and are willing to ship them (which, I think, is not guaranteed they do especially if it is from a concert). You have two options:
      1. Contact 3sat directly under
      www.3sat.de/service-und-hilfe/kontakt-3sat-100.html
      2. Perhaps a better option is to contact the broadcasting station ZDF, which is responsible for organizing the 3sat broadcsts. ZDF has, to my knowledge, a rather well organized service for answering such requests. To contact ZDF, do the following:
Go to zdf-service.de/kontakt/ and in the dropdown menu "Wählen Sie Ihre Anfrage aus" choose "Sendemitschnitte zur privaten Nutzung" (this means "recordings for private use"). Fill in the form and hope for the best... Sending the form is of course just a general request, if they answer (which I hope they will...), they will tell you the details about the cost etc. I hope you will be successful.
