Quaker Parrot Hormonal Season - Cranky, Territorial and Confused.

It's that time of year when Pluto goes funny and drives the whole house insane. Lots of temper tantrums, no types of food are good enough and don't you dare come near his cage! haha
It can last 3-4 weeks but does seem to peak around the second week when we all begin discussing if having a parrot is really worth the trouble... then we turn a corner and begin to remember the lovely Pluto once again. hahaha
I have learned it's really important for me to reduce my play time with him during this phase. It only increases his frustration and so overall it's better to leave him to himself and we interact via chatting and calling out to each other throughout the house.
