    Depends if you have the Bose system or not. Mine has it and it’s super loud and crisp

    Bro have you had the AFM or DOD turned off on your car? The LS3 don't have it but the L99 does and just curious if the computers been flashed to turn the cylinder deactivation off. If it hasnt been turned off, it's a good idea to have it done as preventative maintenance.

    Great Video and congrats as an owner of a 2010 when it was new and was barely out a year this brings back memories I was very active for a time on camaro5.com lots of helpful posts there and great members. A few things though just my opinion and observations as a owner of a 2010.
    -Don't change the steering wheel basically I know not a great drivers design in 2010, but it was unique and iconic of the muscle cars of old. Basically if you put in the refreshed one you are putting in a parts bin one sourced from the chevy cruze yuck....If you do anyways try to get one from like the ZL1 if you can.
    -Don't remove the GM chiclets on the sides yours is an early build, my 2010 was a later build and did not come with them and lots of members wanted them and tried sourcing them.
    -I understand the backup camera , mine had the rear backup sensors which I loved so no need for one but yes its hard to see out of but honestly the 2010-2013 is the best looking Camaro the new one will never look as good.
    -Look into adding Ground Effects that are painted to match it's an option that I ordered with mine and honestly it makes the 5th gen have an unmatchable look.
    -Down the line look into adding HUD that is an awesome mod to do that some on the forum got into. Of course its not cheap too.
    -If you use the right oils that are fully synthetic, you should be good for longer than six months of course depending on how many miles you put and how you drive it.

      @@DanTheDadd Awesome the only things I can add is you will love your SS the fifth gen is just an awesome platform that has a large aftermarket. After all it did through its life outsell the Mustang and Challenger and there's a reason for that. Check out Camaro5.com there is so much knowledge that has been shared through the years along with very helpful members who own or have owned Gen 5's for years. All you can imagine is talked about there good luck and enjoy.

    That fog light part isn’t true, the 2013 and up have the up to date 5th gen parts, and there’s a harness to correct the fog light and drl thing. Would love an update

    Yo I have a 2011 rs and I wanna get a 2010 ss with 133k miles for 13k do you think it’s worth it?

    • @DanTheDadd
      @DanTheDadd  Před rokem

      Yea bro definitely worth it. Maybe ask them to come down on the price becuz of the high mileage. Otherwise make sure to check out the car really good to see any issues. But this LS3 is really fun. And if your into modifying your motor, then it will be a beast!

      I feel like we all got “got” again and went out buying old SS Camaro’s but we all realized now that the 6th gen Camaro was what we should have got.

    • @02basel
      @02basel Před rokem +2

      @@HeartBreakTrey if u had the money for the 6th gen and could comfortably afford it then there was no reason to get the 5th gen and u should just trade it in, if u didnt have the money for the 6th gen and are now having buyers remorse after getting the 5th gen (even though you couldnt afford the newer option) then thats not deserved feelings since it wasn't in ur control to begin with, you got a great car and theres always going to be newer, higher tech, more horsepower generations no matter what car you get so theres no point in feeling like you got played brother

      @@02basel I’ve been having a six gen as well for 3 years or more …… the 5 gen just isn’t that great the 6 gen is trash as well… Chevy sucks
