Zeref is also a Dragneel. That's their family last name. It's not something given to Natsu by Igneel.
Dragneel is not related to Igneel in any way, its a surname of Natsu's and Zeref's family. Natsu was a Dragneel even before meeting Igneel.
It was never stated Irene was "way stronger" lol. You had it right the first time, she was just introduced as "the strongest woman" to August's "strongest man"

@NVB709 in the manga i read ahe says "the only one who has a chance against August" she dont know, we don't know, no one knows. But Irene is the only wizard who actually holds a candle to him. I'm sure they themselves do not know who would win, also why neither of them wanna risk that fight.
Irene and August are on par with eachother
Yeah, they are the OP of the Twelve. But I would say that August's magic is more powerful, while Irene's is more flexible and can prey on August's major weakeness. Basically, they are at the same level and a confrontation between those two would be the same as dropping a nuclear bomb over a vast area.

I've been wondering about this for some time now and I think Irene is actually stronger than him. Irene and August are on par, but Irene still has a dragon form that makes her a) resistant to non-Dragon Slaying attacks and b) gives her a power that August can't copy and c) greatly amplifies her magic. When she goes into dragon form, she says she becomes a Master Enchanter. Since nobody knows about her being a dragon outside of Zeref and yet they still sense that her power is equal to August, that means she must be more powerful in dragon form.
@4Tom4lepus4 not really true tbh August is possibly strong I know a good Ft scaler who scales him high but I still wasn't completely sure but im starting to learn towards Equal but August just has an advantage with the shear amount spells he has also don't wanna spoil anything for anyone but August did fight a much stronger opponent and still more so game up then lost
@@4Tom4lepus4 They're both underrated and (clear the 100yq apart from dragon gods) I used to think Irene may be stronger but August can also copy dragon slaying magic. They both have an amplified form and DS magic is caster magic so he can nullify it as long as it isn't physical. I think they're equal in the end game.

Just clarification, the last name Dragneel came from Natsu and Zeref's parents, not Igneel, I don't think dragons had last names. That being said, what a coincidence that their last name is similar to dragons and then Natsu was raised by Igneel lol
The very first hint that Yukino is Angel's sister is her very appearance, the clothes she wear. Second is when Lucy summons Gemini then proceed the scene to Yukino because she knows who was the previous owner of Geminis key. (although everybody thinks because she is a celestial wizard in the next episodes)

Not having stakes is not a problem to me. It’s a “friendship is magic” type show and we all know the main cast is gonna be fine. The problem is that they just do constant death fake outs. It defeats the whole purpose of a death fake out if there was never any chance of them dying in the first place.
@@revolution2762 As much as friendship power is a thing in FT, I think thats fine as its been a thing since episode 1. I just wish that the main characters would make sacrifices other than fake out deaths to protect their friends. Best example is Lucy losing Aquarius, and it was one of the best scenes in all of FT. Arguably THE best.
@@revolution2762 friendship/love is magic/power is in every show. The only difference is FT says it out loud while other shows don't say it that much. Death fake outs was also very common in older shows. One piece was an example. The initial arcs contained a lot of death fake outs.

they didn't say Irene is stronger than August, they said they are both the "strongest", honestly i do believe they're pretty close too, they both have some insane magic in their arsenal, and also insane overall knowledge about everything related to magic, i'd give August an edge tho, my man's broken out of his mind.
I give it to Irene. She can enchant anything as a human & as a dragon, she's impervious to magic & can enchant several times more than her human form.

August is the strongest man in Sprigan 12, and Irene is the strongest woman. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they never said that Irene is stronger than August and vice versa. and they will reveal why August and Irene are very strong in the last few episodes.
Irene can defeat August. Irene have no weakness and August have. The only reasons she was defeated is by miscalculation and underestimating Wendy. While August is partially defeated because of his weakness against holder type magics. He just died because of the consequence of his last spell.

No Dragnell name doesn't come from Igneel. Zerefs parents were Dragneels hence Zeref is a Dragneel along with Natsu. You will find out why Larcade is a Dragneel later
The system of the 10 wizard saint is the council pick who is in top 10. I think with Guildarts should be no. 1 wizard saint because he literally can destroy anything with hes crush magic whether its building, human or even magic so yeah ❤

You guys do not listen... August is stronger than Eileen. Brandish literally said that August is the strongest individual but another share the title of being the strongest. August is said to be the strongest man and Eileen the strongest woman but august is the strongest individual in the group.

So they share the title "strongest" in their respective gender. But overall, August is the strongest spriggan hence the reason why brandish said "August is the strongest individual"
