- In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to receive the beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. I used to show the gifts as part of 'The Chateau Diaries' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new video series. Every now and then, we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

I am so pleased that you and Mummy liked the wind chimes. They can go almost anywhere.... in her window at the chateau, on the arches at the garden, hanging on a pergola.... almost anywhere. They are tuned to make a wonderful soothing sound. Enjoy my friends enjoy !!

I was having a bad day but after watching all of you being happy it made me happy, thank you for always bringing joy to all of us that follows your channel. Stephanie and Isabelle remind me of this Audrey Hepburn quote: "I love people who makes me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. I enjoyed your first videos too but when presents are opened it definitely gives your spirits a boost and I love that part the best. It’s like life is getting better and better every day.
Some of the letters you receive are beautifully written and have memorable stories. Perhaps a page on your website or the vlog called "The Chateau Letters." They can be photographed along with the accompanying gifts! You could read the letters as they are shown? This say you have a catalog of the gifts as well.

Well, I wouldn't say that the Mississippi River flows *through* Missouri. More like it's the eastern border. *lol* The Missouri River goes straight through the middle of the state.
Bonjour Stephanie et tous les membres de la famille. Just wanted to tell you that I truly enjoy the opening of gifts : people are generous and they appreciate the videos but I think it makes them feeling of "appartenance" to the family of the Château. For us the viewers, it it a perfect opportunity to enjoy some "time off" and look at gorgeous things !

@@beverlysmith5658 The first couple of vlogs I sort of half watched and concluded that no one is 'that nice and genuine' THEN I watched some more and then some more and just knew that she is hiding Nothing and it's all genuine and positive. I won't mention another chateau vlogger who had somewhat deformed my view in the beginning. In a way this confinement has allowed Stephanie to find her voice, set up her Patreon account and transform their lives. As a Patron I am happy for her and her 'brood'. NOW I set aside time each time I get an alert and make some tea with biscuits and enjoy as we all do. Hugs xx

Stephanie: you should consider cataloguing those gifts that are chateau related so that your catalogue is kept with the archives of the chateau. They are part of the history of the chateau And the people who cared about it and its owners/habitants 😊

Hi from an Australian. The pink birds are Galahs then there were Rainbow Lorikeets, Kookaburras and the little brown are blue ones are Splendid fairywrens (my favourite).
It's not his colors, but the rabbit, squirrel, hedgehog fabric would make fun pillows for Michael's Beatrix Potter-inspired gardener's cottage.
Oh this is the best part of watching you all dive into your beautiful gifts..so inspiring and it's like Christmas ever day .Just gives me such a thrill to watch you and I so want to fly over there and meet with everyone..your lifestyle and excitement is contagious :)

A very entertaining 20 minutes well worth the early morning start... so glad Mummy was sent some Passion Flower seeds I have been thinking of that myself but not sure if they are the same, in Australia we have many different types of Passion Fruit, they are delicious, if I manage to find seeds I will send definitely them. Many years ago I had one on my fence, between the the children next door and my dogs, not many found their way into the kitchen!
