@@evaneugenescott guess what, I play the Caro, It's my favourite opening. You should try Alex raccomandation in the advanced (the Botvinnik-Carls). I have the highest winrate in the advanced. You have literally free access to a masterclass, watch his Caro Kann climb many times ( I still rewatch it when i feel the need) and try to get the first moves right and get a sense of the main ideas of the opening. I think the caro is his best series so far, he explains these things in such a simple and effective way.
I was kinda desperate against 1d4, but your first game really sold me the Slav.
If you play the London as white it feels really like the easiest approach as a beginner
