Jeremy Jahns reviews the 2010 movie "The A-Team".....and he knows the entire monologue from the t.v. show intro.....although he wont admit it. Watch more videos by Jeremy Jahns here: / jeremyjahns
Logic, really? You don't look for logic when watching anything, past or present, with "The A-Team." It's just fun and explosions; like a better scripted version of a Michael Bay film.
I just watched this movie and can honestly say that IT DID NOT disappoint...The original series had a lot of "Nawh That can't happen"...and this movie played on it as well which was the mystique of the captivating original. I loved it!...best entertaining movie that is a remake or movie made version. I highly recommend watching this is you are a fan of the Original TV series.
I completely understand where you're coming from, but I loved the take on the show, it took something that was relevant then, and made it relevant now, it showed the relationships in the team incredibly, where guys piss each other off but are always there for each other. The plot....if you actually were one of the few people who pay attention to it, is incredible and completely ties in with "The Crime they didn't commit" from the beginning of Season 5, but putting it in a modern international conflict meant more relevance. The casting for the team was perfect, in my opinion as someone who frequently rewatches that show. The film knows what it is, it knows the stunts and cool shit defies physics....but have you seen the original show? They crash a freaking helicopter into a mountain and survive. People should remember the tone of the show when going into this. Plot plot plot....ridiculous action scenes intertwined and then a massive explosion fest at the end. Despite this the movie definitely had heart because everyone did the show justice and wanted to do so.
lol The whole point of the A-team is to be cheesy and badass i'm only nineteen and I still like the outdated A-team better it just has that classic charm.
First: Nobody liked season 5 Second: The problem with this movie was that it took itself too seriously. It lacked the lighthearted cheesy tone from the show.
@@wjzav1971 Yea, im gonna have to call bullshit on that. Yeah, it had serious moments, but the humor in this movie is on fuckin point. It know when to take itself seriously and when it was safe to crack jokes, unlike the mcu and frankly alot of movies today. It lets the serious moments be serious, and it let the down time sections be lighthearted and fun.
Despite never actually seeing the original series before, this movie was still very fun to watch. I can't believe Mr. T himself said it felt "too violent for him"
I loved the old A-Team show and I loved this movie. One of the important things with making a movie of a TV show, at least I think so, is recreating the vibe of the show. This movie did that, I think. Hannibal's line "I love it when a plan comes together", BA's fear of flying and putting him to sleep, Murdoch's craziness, face man's way with women, their escapes and the creation and preparations of their plans. Had tons of fun all throughout the movie and never a dull moment. Yes, all the stuff face had at his prison, but I wasn't surprised by it at all! That's what face man does, he gets stuff. See how he treated all the people at the prison and getting them a bunch of stuff? I was skeptical at first, but I came away with really liking the movie. I would watch it again and I also really want to go back and watch the old TV show.
I liked the movie, I bought it....but don't find myself watching it often. I guess I was just afraid that if I didn't like it, nor others to, the "A-Team" would disappear and we'd never see another.
Did a rewatch and to be honest... the movie aged well... felt like watching the 80s tv show. Edit - realized I watched the extended version.. was better than I expected.
Jeremy I want to thank you for your reviews, I absolutely hate when reviewers give really silly comparisons like oh the movie felt so relaxing like the wind at the top of a mountain...very few of us have climbed mountains so this comparison is lost but you manage to make every comparison relate able so thank you, if only you did a review of every movie then I wouldn't have to waste time watching some of the abominations out today.
Your nostalgia for the A-Team series, and the original Karate Kid.... You are NOT as old as I am Jeremy!?! ;D You are just the Master of pop culture, and I bow to you.
One thing I think is running through a lot of people's mind is this question: How could you possibly think of making an A-Team movie without Mr T. I used to watch these series as a kid, but can only remember it through Mr. T. What other character is as important as him?
For the Shaky Camera sequence was not that much, due Tony & Riddley Scott is the producer for the A-team, there is some Tony Scott -ish close quarter combat filming. Really Enjoyed it a lot.
Nice review Jeremy. I knew it was going to be over the top and ridiculous, and that's what gets me excited about it. I think I'll have fun, as long as I don't think about the realism like you said haha. Keep the good vids a comin man.
You are so honest, I love it! I enjoyed the A-Team as it was ridiculous but it didn't take itself too seriously. Sharlto was amazing but I liked all the characters. It was OTT but a fun ride. Reminded me of the action films I loved as a kid!
you know what it's funny because i hate when people say "its a big dumb action movie" but at least it had a decent script and never takes itself seriously and moves fast
In response to this guy's complaint that lots of stuff happens in the film that could never happen in real life: I recently watched the movie on DVD with the director's commentary, and he states that the TV series was full of impossibilities, and that they were just playing homage to that. It was all in the spirit of the series. It would probably help to keep that in mind when you see the film.
Great fun flick, Neeson is definitely Hannibal, Cooper has and is a good Face... but the guy playing Barracus is an MMA fighter and does look less menacing than Mr T❗️ That said you are right, Copley is an awesome Murdock, he steals the movie ‼️ I enjoy this movie ‼️👍🏻

I really enjoy movies where people use guns and stuff like that. I will see this movie, but since it's shown on the same week as Toy Story 3, a movie I simply won't miss, I will probably wait for A-Team to come out on DVD.

g1015m best part was flying a tank. 😁😎
g1015m Personally I need some realism with my movie. it could've been so good if the effects were practical
I think this movie is just a little underrated. Not awesome but a funnish watch.
Yup
Im 7 years old i watched this movie and so coll bro

I really enjoyed it myself.
Shartlo Copley as Murdock was hilarious.

I loved this movie. I guess it was because I didn't watch the T.V. Show, but it was a reboot for a new generation and it was fun. Very fun to watch.
That was a good movie

I love this movie ,such a shame they didn't make a sequel .

This is literally the first review where I've ever seen Jeremy take a breath. Awesome!
I genuinely loved this movie! I thought the overall look of it was great...
this is one of my favorite action movies

lol bad relationship analogy was on point ... good stuff man
Lol omg Smokin' Aces, I completely forgot about that great little movie..

Vision is blurry?
Man... This is A-team... They once entered a prison using a chair with balloons and it work!
Love this movie ;)
I love this movie and the old show
I loved this movie and never realized that was Vicus until now. I want sequels to this.
This movie wasn't trying to take itself seriously at all, and that's what made it fun to watch!
Love the A team

y u blurry
"you spin me right round...."
Baby Right round like a record baby
Just rewatched it! Had a good time. Love rewatching movies 9 years later. Btw it’s on HBO lol
What about ten years later?
Dude its like one of my fav. Movies!!
i love the part when the guy playing mr t is like you crushed my van you fool
however implausible the tank scene was legendary
good review, Jeremy
i liked it and i would love to see a sequel
I'll do my review on this and the A-Team tomorrow night when I see it lol.
who is A in the Team?????
buy it only Blu-Ray definatly
I really liked it. Over the top, but fun.
Where are your hands? Are you kneading dough? You seem so calm.

the 3d part was awesome
i love this film
Nice honest review.
Underrated movie
do you think they should have brought mr t back?
One of the most underrated movies ever.
I actually really enjoyed this movie :) especially the tank flying scene :D
Same great scene.

I friggin' Loved A-Team !!!
feel for ya Jeremy, have being in a pit of despair for 2 and half hours though
@DiClivity Well, he is a big movie fan, like me. So of course he loves to talk about them.
what was impossible in this film?
u gotta damit the falling tank scene was pretty badass
What You Rate This Movie
why do u put the description of the video in 3rd person?
in there the trailer, their in a tank thrown out of plane shooting at a drone!!!! how do you come up with that.
you know what it's funny because i hate when people say "its a big dumb action movie" but at least it had a decent script and never takes itself seriously and moves fast
This is a total guilty pleasure for me. Great movie? Nah. Fun watch? Hell yes!
i had a blast
The A-team is amazing; Hannibals plans, Murdock's humour, BA's anger and bad assness.
They Shot a Drone out of the Sky with a flying Tank.......Thats Awesome Jeremy!!!
Yeah... but that means you liked the Phantom Menace as well...
your style has changed
why are you so blurry?
I love Sharlto Copley, he needs to be in more movies
good movie that wont put you in a coma like inception
Put in physics, logics and possibilities in a movie and you'll have a documentary rather than a movie.
Please review Smokin' Aces! That movie is awesome!!
So by that logic Battleship is a good movie?
@MegaChunti well you may spend your time contacting them :P
i loved this movie
my dad and i could not stop laughing the entire time
There is a reason it was like Smokin Aces, it was the same director.
FOCUS!!!
+Jeremy Jahns The physics of the movie check out dude !! Especially the tank scene !!
Give this one another watch, it's better than this review says buddy
Agreed
I actually enjoyed this movie. it's not one of my go to movies, but if it's playing on TNT or FX or something I'm gonna sit and enjoy it
Do a review of District 9!~
Very good movie, underrated.
@EADS911 obviously you didnt see Kick-Ass
So....you gonna review smokin aces?
that and Mr. T was afraid of flying
michael baye snuck in some of his "plot-line" explosions footage.
Who's better? Liam Neeson or Chuck Norris?

It's a good time, if your time, if your drunk.
you look like the guy that represented face
Holy crap, Karate Kid was 2 1/2 hours? Oh man, well great review. My dad really wants to see this, think he'll enjoy if for nostalgia's sake?
@micfey121 Good for you. What are you trying to say with that?
I wish Hannibal was using disguises in the movie.
Rereview this 10 years later?
He should!
