im schizophrenic and kooleen is one of the only art content creators that i can watch, bright flashy colors, unexpected loud noise and overall "too energetic" videos can trigger hallucinations for me and since kooleen's style is more of dulled down colors its easy for my brain to process and she's not over the top with energy in her voice either. drawing can be hard for me and too much focusing and time spent on it can cause delusions for me as my brain gets in a hyper focussed zone and basically my thoughts control me from there so its not good for me to draw and stuff for long periods of time. kooleen's tutorials and hacks etc help me a lot with drawing more efficiently and without as much effort, plus the results turn out better. im 3 months clean as of yesterday and currently in rehab and i should be out soon in a psychiatric facility; so thank u kooleen for helping me thru this ur videos really help me be able to relax and focus on something better + u deserve positive clout baby

Koleen is literally the only artist who encourages copy+paste+mirror like guys just admit everybody does this!!! It's the most convenient way!!!! But all these "pro artists" tell we should draw every detail by ourselves???? Why would I do this???
Because if you only rely on brushesand copy pastjng and mirror youll never actually learn to draw

the only reason i would draw the other eye is bc with my style it would look weird if i copy paste like it's too symmetrical it's odd. if i have an artstyle that allows me to just copy and paste and still look fine after some refinements heck aint no way in hell i'd draw the other eye that shit is torture

@LM-99 fr . It's so annoying, Its so weird to force an artist to draw black people, even as a black person myself ! It also shapes the way other artists think too, I don't even draw black people that much and this whole situation makes me and other artists feel bad for not doing so :(

I started off doing digital art on a mouse and it was horrid lol. I gave up after a year of no improvements, but once I got my iPad and procreate it was a drastic difference. Coming from traditional sketching and painting to using a tablet felt more comfortable. I just use my mouse now for gaming, but I would eventually like to learn digital with a mouse.

Y’know despite the nerfing brought by mouse, the mouse drawing still looks great!
Love this as an avid mouse artist! I've been doing it for years and it gives me more precise control is some cases because my hands shake and the mousepad has texture that stops it from slipping around when I shake. I mean it's also because i hate having to plug my drawing tablet in and set up the software everytime though.

I was seeing what differences there are between drawing with the Maus and drawing on a tablet and I already see the difference. I liked the tablet much more because it is simpler and it doesn't cost much to make the sketch like on the Maus.
The difficulties of using Maus is because it is difficult for us to "draw" the details among "others". So don't complicate. your life and use your finger or the pencil of the tablet so you don't have less difficulties, so I'm just giving my (opinion

I've always drawn with a mouse, so when my friend lent me her Ipad I had the same experience as most of the "draw with a mouse" challenges have, but the reverse. It was so so odd, and I very much prefer my mouse.
