The Mist Trail 2024 - Yosemite

Hiking the mist trail in Yosemite on June 20th 2024. Trail lives up to the hype when the falls are flowing, simply amazing. Go early (6-8am) to thin the crowds, would not do this hike later in the day. Despite the number of hikers, it doesn't feel overwhelming or too crowded if you go at the right time. Highly recommend looping back on the JMT. The vernal falls viewpoint from the JMT was one of my favorites.

Beautiful! How far again from Parking lot to the First waterfall (a Vernal fall my guess)? From this video it looked as a flat trail. My wife and i planning to go there this Saturday. She can walk only flat trails due some feet problems.

3:32 This one doesn't look like Vernal fall. Anyway how did you get that close to waterfall? Vernal falls stairs go only up. We didn't see flat site or access area at the bottom. On other hand we didn't go all the way up. BTW it was hard to go always up for 2 miles to get to waterfall.
