Let me know if you have any "top 3" video suggestions! I have a lot of old footage to pull from. Also, if you are not subscribed yet, don't forget to hit that button as well as the bell! We have some epic adventures coming up soon.
Tucker Gott yeah man, you are awesome! I subscribed and liked!
Top 3 flights duh!
Can you make a video on how to assess a launch site to see if you have enough room? I love your videos tucker! I especially love the more educational ones :)
I think you are a great ambassador of the sport tucker, I've watched a lot of videos on the sport and subscribed to you and kyle o ,I've watched a few others that I don't like but I won't mention his super name, I'm sure you can guess. keep sending it and stay safe buddy
Top 3 failed launches
To be successful you have to be able to learn from others mistakes. By showing some of yours you could be saving some newbies life. Thanks Tucker.
Dennis Whiter this comment brings my mind some new ideas if i want to lear something
I love how you are transparent with your mistakes and use them to help others through your vids. Thanks!
Good stuff as always. Great way to wake up and start the day. I'm in flight school now for the airlines but I miss flying a paramotor.
damn tucker , my hands are sweating watching this !! I ve been kite boarding for 13 years and when i think about the things that have happened over the years to me and also that i ve seen happen to others, and the unpredictability of the wind and weather in general, it makes me scared to take up this sport. Good job with the videos man.........love them! Been subscribed for some time now. Stay safe!
Classy move, critiquing yourself. No one can claim you’re attacking anyone and you’re be bluntly honest about mistakes anyone could make.
I hope you continue to make the sport safer by sobering informative posts like this and your crash analysis reviews.
We did intentional asymetric collapses at my paragliding learning course in austria - but of course with toggles in our hands. Not a huge problem with an en a wing.
Great videos mate!
love your content in videos and your being humble in mistakes to teach others. Thanks again for sharing and your devotion to this sport.
Hey Tucker -been a follower since your Black Hawk days. Blown away that in 7k subscribers time - you will have One Million Subscribers?!! Thats effin outrageous mate! Hats off to Jaclyn too -loved watching her progress through kiting then flights and love the fact that you try to look at the sport from all angles to introduce the sport, educate and entertain. Yes, there is a sobering reality about this sport and you have spoken about that too. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this channel. Its much appreciated.
No words for the humility in sharing this, I wish Mr. S in CA would display a bit. You Tucker are a class act young man.
this is actually a great vid showing your mistakes can help others prevent em... as you're well experienced now I think more of these would be gold for anyone approaching this sport
It takes a really mature approach to share your mistakes, no matter how embarrassing, with others. Especially on the Interwebs. Thank you for sharing!
Always a pleasure...… Thanx Tucker!
Great reminder to check motor mounts on preflight! 👍🏻
Dude when I watched you reach for the A I freaked like when you see a video of someone check the gun barrel by pointing it at their head.
This is a perfect analogy! 😂
I thought his screw up was going to be he grabbed the middle A's instead of the outside on accident! I couldnt belive that was on purpose. Lol
Yea same here I’m going to be buying and starting in the spring 💯😌
All great words of wisdom. Thank you Tucker
Keep up your awesome and honest opinion/reviews your a great fella Tucker! I really do enjoy your content keeps me sane when I’m away at work and can’t fly haha 😃👍🏼
Great clips. Blackhawk and Enduro days! This is going to save some beginners a lot a heartache. You forgot your classic right side collapse on takeoff though!
Awesome content Tucker 🙏
My first collapse happened during a wing over due to lack of outside brake pressure. It was a bit scary but I am grateful for the learning experience it provided me.
Love your work, man!!
🤟 great vid, keep 'em coming !
Awesome videos Tucker!
Wow the motor mount issue was crazy to hear. Glad you didn't get hurt. These vids are great to share thanks! Its important to laugh at your mistakes.
I'm a new pilot now only about 18 flights in and thanks to CZcams and the maturity of the sport I know better on grabbing the inner A's. So when I saw your hand reach for them my jaw dropped. Lol, I love the way your hand comes into the frame and reach for those inner A's like a curious kid reaching their hand toward something forbidden.
Honestly, these videos are amazing and I am definitely going to try and get into this. Unfortunately the closest paramotor instruction that I know of is in Windsor, CO, which is about a 3 hour drive south. I kind of want to see if I can talk my parents into getting me lessons for my 30th birthday in March next year - it would definitely be a great memory to round out my 3rd decade on this planet.
Very interesting look at your progress. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing Tucker.
Brave of you to post this one. We all learn from mistakes. I almost took off with no petrol cap once. I think that this will save some people. I held my breath when you pulled th inside A's!
That asymmetrical collapse is something I performed during my initial training under the supervision of my instructor. Albeit I was over water when I did it. I held the A riser while in flight and didn't let go until instructed to. But it showed me that I can still be relatively in control during an asymmetrical and it gave me confidence in my glider. Some gliders recover faster than others and require no input from the pilot.
Thank you for those very valuable lessons.
Don't pull A's in flight, if you hear something hit your propeller, abort. On wing overs, don't get forget to pull the opposite brake appropriately.
I expect a new shirt that says "Don't Yoink Your A's."
Lol, thats great!
Great lessons here, Tucker ... thank you. Top 3 suggestion? How about best times paramotoring with Jaclyn or related?
My top 3 beginner mistakes:
Shedding my sunglasses
Having my glider end up in a tree
Forgetting to turn my air switch on, on gas tank
I had the classic, lifting legs on launch with big dust cloud and broken prop! Haven’t done that since and the video is used by my instructor as a “what not to do” lol
The best flying over national monuments like Hoover dam things like that would be interesting to see. Enjoying watching your videos. Stay safe.
Top 3 / top 5 unique discoveries found while flying (thinking about the time you found a pickup truck on the side of a mountain); also top 3 adventure / mission flights that were your favorites.
“Lemme just yoink this”
*instant regret*
I'd like to see more of the top however many types of paramotor pilots you'll meet :) and also more reactions to crash videos
Thanks for sharing your noob learning experiences - helping us noobs get better is greatly appreciated. 👍
Do not be embarrassed by your failures, learn from them and start again.

Great vid! Bringing back any of the flannels in the store this winter?
How about top 5 beginner wings. I am sure a few of your viewers are seriously considering entering the sport.
Maybe team up with Aviator and do a collaboration video.
Thanks for sharing !
"And recently I went through one of my old hard drives..." Holds up what looks like a VHS tape and isn't old enough to know VHS, lol. A tape may seem like a hard drive to the younger gen. Years ago I spoke of a cassette tape and my boss's daughter asked me what that was. I told her it was what we OWNED when we paid for music.
As for your moments Tucker, you're a smart guy. You figure things out faster than most (I assume.) I can tell from your videos that you are not simple, ignorant, or complacent. Good for all of us that you share. Thank you!
Where did you buy your paramotor? love you, stay awesome!!
Hahaha Tucker that second one was pretty funny actually. I used to pull 50% asymmetric and hold it in deflation and then weight shift to fly around to get used to how the wing reacts. Back in the day for us we tried all kinds of fun and crazy stuff. I used to take the two CENTER A's and pull them down until the wing went into a horseshoe, from there I would lean left to go right and vice versa, haha. Some time I hope to meet you, I can tell you some funny stories. Cheers for now. You can repeat my comments of you like, lol
Hands through toggles for any line manipulations like big ears or clearing cravats, for me.
I think the pre check tip is a great tip. I imagine some pilots don't check everything, and seeing someone else learn the lesson the hard way, they don't have to learn the hard way they learn to make sure to check all the little things too.
Until yesterday I didn’t know paranotors exist. You tube recommended me a video of yours and since then I’m just binge watching you videos
Paranotor
Paranotor
@FoamFlyer @ Carter Carlton paramotors* sorry! 😊
Lol no problem
Please fly to Milad Mirg Subway on a paramotor!
😋👍🙂🙃🤗
It's in Cedar Grove, New Jersey! 😀
When I saw you reaching for the A i thought ''what the hell are you doing!?''. Keep up the great work. Good luck and Kind Regards :)
36,000 more subscribers and you will have a million subs. Get it homie!
He’s blowing up! I’m not an early subscriber, but I was here at under 500,000. Nice to see him growing so quickly. Interesting sport, awesome personalities, and excellent editing!
@@chasetonga - I think he was around 40k when I first started watching!
I was sub around 55K, but I have split personality, so I should count as two. ;-P
I have been in a plane crash where the gear had collapsed due to overload which was caused by a break malfunctioning leading to it activating on one wheel and the Cessna was pulled sideways and we collapsed the right landing gear and dented up the edge of the right wing
Much respect from everyone here at Vikingbags!
I would love to, but can not afford to get off the ground, but like what i see, good flying guys and girls.
You are one of the few people I have heard say "forward" as FOH-WORD instead of FORE-WORD. It sounds so nice
Thanks for the info. Jay’s going for it.😎🤙⚡️He watches all your videos April Lonestar. 🏄♀️
Great video
So, you ARE human after all, Tucker! 😜
I whacked 2 of my lines with the prop on the last outing. One worse than the other. No internal damage - just the outer jacket. Still going to replace both. Not sure what happened, but the wing shot up off to one side - started pulling me over. I had one wheel of the trike way off the ground. Aborted, but the prop was still spinning (clutched), and whacked an A, and a B line as it landed on top of me. Also had my tachometer / hour meter battery die on me. The important gauge (temp.) is still working, though. Minor issues - part of my learning curve! I'll get in the air some day, LOL. 😁
My first launch, with a twin cylinder was over the Salt Marshes in West Barnstable, Cape Cod, ended about 150' high with a seized motor with nothing but 2' of salt water and 6' of mud in front of me. I pulled hard on the left brake and prepared for a seriously fast downwind landing and that's exactly what happened. I ended up face first in a ditch, with gas spilling all over me. Scared the shit out of me.
Bet you won't buy a Fresh Breeze again..
Tucker: Actually, you and I made the same first big mistake... We both bought a Blackhawk motor. You live and learn!
Fark me number 2 was nuts .. what happens when you remove the leading edge on a airfoil, thanks heaps for sharing though
Nice job with the show n tell! That motor issue would have made me so mad!! That kind of stuff makes me have an unnatural response and I kinda hulk out.... keep inspiring buddy your killing it 🔥🔥👍👍

No can do, he lives in a "congested area" 🙄
Ha! A Buzz Z3 paragliding wing. By chance that's what I've been using for my first wing. Got it used of course but it's in great shape yet. It's rated as an EN-B wing so not exactly a 'beginner' wing.
I am self training a wheel launch but I am also takeing privet pilots lessons thanks for probably doing a idotic move like collapsing the wing
Tyler are wing collapses rare if not brought on by a pilot acting froggy or testing boundaries. If a newbie is afraid of getting involved because of the fear of collapsing and falling from the sky would suggest that the sport of flying a paraglider is safe if just flying around and not doing wing overs and aggressive flying? The videos of Iceland were amazing. I can really see myself doing that
In Germany we have to do an asymetric collapse in order to get the mandatory licence. Well, the difference is, they tell you how to react properly. I think this is a thing one should have done, just to know how to handle it. I'm glad i didn't do it the first time on an unrated wing without instruction.
Hey what was your first motor and when u did your early cross countries did u drive to the landing spot and Scout things out like powerlines and other obstacles
I had a bar from the cage go through the prop. It scared the crap out of me banging around behind my head, but I made the choice to never risk flying with without a helmet right there. And yes better prefights.
Hey Tucker, I've got 44 hours of flight time. I'm having a hard time with fear. I was hit by a gust front in the spring and it rocked my world. Now I have a really hard time mustering up the courage to go out to fly. It didn't help that it took me all summer to diagnose and repair my engine after being overheated. I still love flying, but until I get in the air and start to relax it is terrifying and it didn't used to be that way. Maybe you can do a video on gaining confidence and how that went for you when you were starting off.
maybe a video on your favorite moments in paramotoring
Lets see more begineer Tucker Topics. Folks can I identify. Thanks for the vid.
First love the videos keep up the great work
Have you taken an SIV course?
Do you have any interest in free flight to be a more well rounded pilot?
Do you know how to climb in a thermal, or ever fly mid day?
Keep up the good work dude!
Thanks! I have done siv as well as thermals, ridge lift, and mid day xc. I'd like to do more free flying but it's not nearly as accessible. 😕
"A man has got to know his limitations!" Thanks Harry.
Top beginner mistakes: don’t kill a thousand birds and crash to the ground
The swivel head “wtf” footage. 😆
Hey,thats how all mine is hahaha :)
Like you've never farted in a movie theater before..
Can it also happen that the wing collapses just because of low speed, regardless if you are applying brakes or not?
4:32 my hand when they find me doing something wrong ;-;
M8 how do you NOT have 1M++++ subs yet?!?!
Greetings from Blighty...Tucker, thanks for this Very informative video, honesty begins @ home ay ? Seeing as I’ve got you in “Honest” mode, I’ve got a possibly impertinent question......does the engine bolts starting to shear off indicate poor maintenence on your part ? Just asking !
Peace out mate.
Yet every aviator got this warnings as well me at Bell 47 in the first Solos on landing not watching the correct in to the wind side wind can be very dangerous on take off over a tree not watching to mutch performance take off very quick you can loose Rpm to recover lower immidiatly Collective to get back on your Rotor Rpm !
You mention ‘Risky Landings’! Have you ever inadvertently landed in ‘deep mud’, thinking it was solid ground?
Now on my pre-flight...
Do not *Yonk* on the red lines. Cheers Tucker!
What's the latest info you've got on the ultra modern ultra high tech all electric units? My favorite is peace also. Safe and happy travels
Now that's some compression going on up top. Great vid though!
Imagine if there was a tornado while you were paramotoring
I noticed the glider in the first clip had Nirvana printed on it. Have you flown the Nirvana Instinct? If so, what were your impressions of it?
I appreciate you posting screwups. I think too many times people only post what looks good, and it lulls newbies into a false sense of security and sets an environment that can get them in trouble.
Do drop tests like make a shield for a let's say a water melon then test if and drop it

I am kind of new here but i am loving it
That's exactly what I said my first time at a swingers bar.
This feels like it was made for me. Made my first dumb mistake yesterday and my first fall on landing 😂

Lol full body of broken bones. Good one Skeleton I get it.
My joke was about a band called chumbawamba, I like yours better so wtg!

Had a police helicopter circle me this morning....my wing collapsed due to his down swash!!! Can I claim for that as he kept circling me!!!
