About the exact wording (s) in their texts, what does the guy mean by asking, "What are you doing NOW?" Perhaps he simply lacks the skills of asking: "Is it a good time for us to chat now?" Or, he's just immature and asking irrelevant questions as Scanty is asserting. Which the lady didn't like. She could have responded differently other than she did, though, but either way the bottom line remains the timeframe of the guy's proposal. I personally think it's too short a time to propose which gives the impression that what he's after is just entering the lady's pant.
