I just assumed that it was actually due to the rinnegan being madara's eyes it won't drain him as much and since obito technically had madara's eyes in his sockets it would be way too much for him to handle both anyways besides he looks better with one rinnegan anyways and he still has access to all the moves nagato had but just chose not to use them since everyone would expect and gotten used to those abilities thanks to nagato spamming those throughout his time
The rinnegan is such a versatile ability but after nagato everyone else just used it as a buff. Nagato uses all his abilities so creatively but effectively. After that it was all just push pull and any other abilities they might gain
They also never use the push/pull/gravity as creatively as they could. That's such a busted ability in the world of Naruto and only Pain really capitalized on it's many uses.

Madara's Rinnegan has Limbo, Sasuke's Rinnegan has the ability to swap places and teleport to another world, Kaguya's Rinnegan has the ability to create her own worlds using the yin and yang release.

I think the thing that a lot of people seem to overlook is that the only reason why Sasuke has tomoe symbol rinnegan isn’t just because of the Sage of six paths but because of the chakra given to him by hashirama and kabutos part of giving him cells.
Nagato was probably the best Rinnegan user as he had it for his entire life. And found a way to make something similar to puppets, so each one could focus on one aspect. Pain vs Jiraya still the best if not top 3 fights. From the crazy summons, Sage mode, insane genjutsu. Almost 1v7ing 7 rinnegan users that’d revive each other.
obito didn’t take one because he wasn’t worthy it was because both use up too much chakra and he found his mangekyo to be more useful in battle as it allows him to not be physically hit

Arguably sasuke awakened his own rinnegan through kabuto pouring his essence (prodominantly hashirama cells) into him. It was similar to how obito gave Naruto the rest of the nine tailed beasts while he already had sage mode on lockdown Both of them had met the conditions to reach the powers they had against madara but hagoromo just amped and speed ran the process I also think the concept of Naruto being saved by the final boss of his story and sasuke the final boss of his own is poetic and still think about it from time to time, especially with the way each fight was built and shown
If Madara wasn't able to retain his sharingan abilities after awakening the rinnegan, how did he use his susanoo during the fight against the five kage? Also it's seem plausible that Sasuke and Obito cant use every rinnegan ability because they possessed one rinnegan. Nagato and madara both of which have two rinnegan we're both able to use preta path which allowed them to absorb chakra. ( Madara absorbed Naruto's rasen shuriken in the beginning of the fourth war and also absorbed hashiramas sage chakra )
To use tthe susanoo u only need to be an uchiha who has awakened mangekeyo sharingan even if u r blind but have awakened the mangekeyo sharingan before u can use the susanoo

Some Corrections: 1. The Rinnegan is a Kekkai Genkai, not a Kekkai Mora. 2nd. There is no such things as worthiness when it comes to the Rinnegan. The reason why Obito didn’t implant both Rinnegans is because he literally said himself it would be too much for him to implant both. 3. Sasuke could not have revived Neji. Neji was already dead by the time Sasuke arrived on the battlefield. In order for Sasuke to have revive Neji, he would have to use Rinne Rebirth, which would kill Sasuke. By that same logic of reviving Neji, Obito would have been able to revive Madara as soon as they met.

Obito said he got close to losing himself he wasn’t overwhelmed by the power of the rinnegan. Essentially this is because with some people if they obtain too much power they lose themselves and go insane with that power e.g. rampages constant random use of attacks on random people (like nagato when he saw yahiko die)
Since this is still largely unknown information. Madara's left mangekyou had the ability to see 5 seconds into the future. This was shown in a special OVA episode from naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm generations that kishimoto confirmed to be cannon. It's unnamed but if I had to guess what it would've been called considering virtually every sharingan ability is named after a god or gods, I'd guess it'd be called Hachiman: the shinto God of divination and war. Fitting for Madara tbh.
Here’s a vid idea In the war arc tenten finds one of hagoromos 5 legendary weapons, each weapon individually could take out most kages, and then by boruto u see that she has collected 3 she is 36 still has a lot of time to find the last 2 (one of the is on obito’s dead body an the other gingaku throw into the deepest ocean in the series )and once she does she could solo every character in naruto
She still gets body. Plus tented doesn't have the charka to use the sages tools. The cost is too much for her. And the tools are still useless against the top tier characters.
I think that besides the 6 paths abilities ect. every Rinnegan owner has one or two specific ability just like a 3rd/4rd mangekyo ability. Nagato and obito just couldn't use limbo since it wasn't theirs
I think every rinnegan has a general ability. But they also have another separate ability for each user to use. Like time- space for Sasuke or limbo for Madara.

Rinnegan does not have to be via Hagoromo you can also eat a chakra fruit, Chibaku Tensei wasnt what sealed Kaguya that was Six Paths Chibaku Tensei which is an amped version of Chibaku Tensei also Chibaku Tensei wasn't the only thing responsible for exhausting Nagato Chaotic Shinra Tensei would definitely use a large amount of Chakra. The Takamimusubinokami also was able to throw jutsu back at more than just two times the power he only used the two fold power increase against Bee because he thought it was all that was necessary

Madara used limbo when he absorbed the ten tails giving his rinnegan a new ability and when Madara absorbed the ten tails he had hashirama sage mode as well giving Madara good regeneration abilities, for example when he face Might Gai in 8 gates formation he healed up to full after Gai used Night Gai. hoped that helped you a little bit
Just a thought here: WHat if, just what if, Nagato's summons aren't part of the Rinnegan. What if, instead, they once were normal summons, which he collected and then put his chakra receivers into like he did his paths? We haven't seen them outside Nagato using them. Well Nagato uses the six paths of pain. One of those six paths could fix things, mind it fix things or heal, that's it, that path could not bring back someone to life. The ones shown getting fixed were already dead and they remained dead just were fixed or repaired. On the other hand to bring someone back to life the wielder of the rennegan must do a rene-rebirth justsu which would cost the wielder his life. That's why Sasuke never brings anyone back to life.

There are things I don't understand. Asora path shouldn't even exist. Nagato can shoot a ki blast and Asora Pain shoots rockets and swords and ki blast cannons?? This is the stupidest concept ever with no explanation. And also, what's the history of all these other summons. The toads and the snakes and the slugs are one thing. Where are the hawks and the others from? And why are snake summons creating dragon sage. Why does Mokuton sage exist without a backstory, and why do we not see slug sage? What about summoning for things like the king or gell and rashomon. Are the rashomon gates alive? How do you get that contract?

I think the thing that a lot of people seem to overlook is that the only reason why Sasuke has tomoe symbol rinnegan isn’t just because of the Sage of six paths but because of the chakra given to him by hashirama and kabutos part of giving him cells.
Nagato was probably the best Rinnegan user as he had it for his entire life. And found a way to make something similar to puppets, so each one could focus on one aspect.

Arguably sasuke awakened his own rinnegan through kabuto pouring his essence (prodominantly hashirama cells) into him. It was similar to how obito gave Naruto the rest of the nine tailed beasts while he already had sage mode on lockdown
Both of them had met the conditions to reach the powers they had against madara but hagoromo just amped and speed ran the process
I also think the concept of Naruto being saved by the final boss of his story and sasuke the final boss of his own is poetic and still think about it from time to time, especially with the way each fight was built and shown

If Madara wasn't able to retain his sharingan abilities after awakening the rinnegan, how did he use his susanoo during the fight against the five kage? Also it's seem plausible that Sasuke and Obito cant use every rinnegan ability because they possessed one rinnegan. Nagato and madara both of which have two rinnegan we're both able to use preta path which allowed them to absorb chakra. Some Corrections:
1. The Rinnegan is a Kekkai Genkai, not a Kekkai Mora.
2nd. There is no such things as worthiness when it comes to the Rinnegan. The reason why Obito didn’t implant both Rinnegans is because he literally said himself it would be too much for him to implant both.
3. Sasuke could not have revived Neji. Neji was already dead by the time Sasuke arrived on the battlefield. In order for Sasuke to have revive Neji, he would have to use Rinne Rebirth, which would kill Sasuke. By that same logic of reviving Neji, Obito would have been able to revive Madara as soon as they met.

Since this is still largely unknown information. Madara's left mangekyou had the ability to see 5 seconds into the future. This was shown in a special OVA episode from naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm generations that kishimoto confirmed to be cannon.

Madara used limbo when he absorbed the ten tails giving his rinnegan a new ability and when Madara absorbed the ten tails he had hashirama sage mode as well giving Madara good regeneration abilities, for example when he face Might Gai in 8 gates formation he healed up to full after Gai used Night Gai. hoped that helped you a little bit

Just a thought here: WHat if, just what if, Nagato's summons aren't part of the Rinnegan. What if, instead, they once were normal summons, which he collected and then put his chakra receivers into like he did his paths? We haven't seen them outside Nagato using them. So what if, they aren't connected to the Rinnegan at all, just more of his puppets? Puppets specially made for his animal path?
Yea, for sure. Otherwise Sasukes eagle would have black chakra receivers too with rinnegan instead of regular eyes(that eagle was summoned after gaining rinnegan in Kaguya fight).

Well Nagato uses the six paths of pain. One of those six paths could fix things, mind it fix things or heal, that's it, that path could not bring back someone to life.
The ones shown getting fixed were already dead and they remained dead just were fixed or repaired.
On the other hand to bring someone back to life the wielder of the rennegan must do a rene-rebirth justsu which would cost the wielder his life.
That's why Sasuke never brings anyone back to life.
I’ve always wondered why Sasuke or Obito didn’t use the 6 paths of Pain and now I’m thinking it may be one of the Rinnegan techniques that can only be done by possessing two rinnegan and massive chakra reserves, enough to sustain 6 ninja at that level of power and power all their jutsu.
Sasuke's eye is the equivalent of two rinegan because it has the tomoe of Kaguya's 3rd eye (which can only be unlocked with the power of two rinnegan)

That would mean that sasuke have 2 EMS and the power of 2 rinnegan eyes plus his exclusive rinnegan powers with just two eyeballs. Plus, the rinnegan in Kaguya's forehead was a rinne-sharingan and is entirely different from Sasuke's 6 tomoe rinnegan.

There are things I don't understand. Asora path shouldn't even exist. Nagato can shoot a ki blast and Asora Pain shoots rockets and swords and ki blast cannons?? This is the stupidest concept ever with no explanation. And also, what's the history of all these other summons. The toads and the snakes and the slugs are one thing. Where are the hawks and the others from? And why are snake summons creating dragon sage. Why does Mokuton sage exist without a backstory, and why do we not see slug sage? What about summoning for things like the king or gell and rashomon. Are the rashomon gates alive? How do you get that contract?
