As Darcy put it “This is the biggest thing that has happened to Winnipeg in a long time. The vibe is so positive and so happy. It’s organized chaos in the city and it’s amazing. The kids have a good time. It makes everybody from Winnipeg proud to say they’re from Winnipeg. We’re not a beat-the-traffic kind of hockey town. We support our teams and that’s the Winnipeg way. I think we passed it down in our DNA. We are Winnipeg”
