So what's interesting is I fondly remember back when I was stuck in the Palace Midas. I finally beat the level using my instincts. Back then when I used to play Tomb Raider on my PlayStation 2 we didn't have the internet the way we have it now to where we can go on CZcams and watch walkthroughs or go on the internet and find how to beat levels. I eventually figured out the real purpose of the Hand of Midas in the level and I eventually figured out that there were codes on the doors and that they represented the levers. By the time I got my first two lead bars, I figured out that you had to use the Hand of Midas to turn them to gold.
Yea. This game creates a brilliant feeling if you solve it on your own, especially at a smaller age.
When my sister was around the age of 10-12 and started playing the TR Classics, i was always suggesting her to not use walkthroughs, but unfortunately she didn't follow my suggestion. Walkthroughs ruin the magic of exploring the unknown. It's ok being used very rarely, or watching a level that has already been passed, to see anything that someone could've missed.

En la sala grande con los pilares,palancas y las 4 puertas se agarra un medikit grande,acciona un piso por abajo,se abre por tiempo una puerta en esa sala arriba de todo,xruzas un pasillo ,se acciona otra puerta del otro extremo y tienes tu medickit,es el que esata mas alto en este Nivel
You mean the Large Medkit up there at 19:57 in front of me? If yes, that Medkit i think is reachable only with a glitch (that I didn't want to use). I've never heard about any other way of getting it. If you mean there is a way to get it without glitch, please explain again how. I translated your comment but couldn't understand exactly what you were explaining.
La sala de las palancas de midas es algo similar a la de st francis folly donde tienes que agarrar un secreto debajo de todo,la puerta es muy similar se abre y se cierra por tiempo

Revisiting my first game played; question, is this from a console Ps1 or PC game? the definition is awesome; I am playing through an old Polaroid 14 inch CRT TV using the RCA cable and @240 my resolution still sucks; what system are you using if you don't mind me asking?
Played on PC, via a PS1 emulator. Meaning, you play on PC, but it's the PS1 version.
@@Neo_v23 Ah yes I read all about it, I have not used a PC for years, only have my work laptop with Windows 10, cant find the emulator version for Tomb Raider 1 for imac, I did see a confusing tutorial for Tomb Raider 2 for it however, the lates 3 games they are all in apple for $89.00 but I do have them for PS4 anyways, it looks playing the first ones from 1 to 5 s where the issue is and I wonder why no company has made an attempt to bring these classics to be able to be played by modern TVs? those converters are garbage as upscaling from 240p to HDMI is not very well stablished
@@fireyourrocketts Yeah. Maybe it's too much work to improve the graphics to a satisfying point, that no one from the Tomb Raider community did it voluntarily. Companies won't bother, since they only try "most sales with the least cost".

@@Shirleydepurley At 16:56 I'm heading to a room. In this room, I climb up somewhere at 18:23 that leads to the room with the hand of Midas. You go close to the hand and press the action key, you select the lead bars and they turn to gold.
Would you replay the remastered games ?
I will copy/paste you my reply to the same question that another person asked me:
"Unfortunately not. This playstyle is very time consuming (no damage and no saves throughout the whole level), and a casual walkthrough of the game doesn't seem as appealing to me. If i encounter any good idea in the comments, i might try something out, but it shouldn't be extremely time consuming.
To give you a picture, there are a few levels that i succeeded in the second try, which took me a total of 2 hours or less to create content, but there were some levels which took me possibly over 10 hours of work to create. Not to mention TR2, where i was struggling on many levels for many days, possibly more than a week (maybe total hours spent of a very hard level could be over 30)."
Look, I enjoy this game, and the remaster seems fun. It's just that i have completed the game 100% many times, i know almost everything in this game, i did already a very hard challenge, so a casual playthrough seems not interesting. I also have no creative ideas to play it again differently, to make it more fun. 😐 If you have any idea, please suggest.

@@samyhx896 Like Lara jumping at the corner of a wall to teleport on top of it for example? If yes, i guess they didn't patch them on purpose.

Yes. I choose high values both in emulator display-settings and recording quality-settings. PC quality could be better, but i chose emulator for nostalgia reasons (loading screen, saving crystals, etc.).
