The Cribs are an English three-piece indie rock band originally from Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The band consists of twins Gary and Ryan Jarman and their younger brother Ross Jarman. They were subsequently joined by ex-The Smiths and Modest Mouse guitarist Johnny Marr who was made a formal member of the group in 2008. Marr would remain as part of the band until 2011; his departure was officially announced on 11 April through the band's website. Despite returning to the original trio, the band currently enlists David Jones of Nine Black Alps as a second guitarist for live shows. The band, who first became active on the concert circuit in 2002, were initially tied to other like-minded UK bands of that time, most notably The Libertines, by a British music press that were looking for a 'British rearguard' to the wave of popular US alternative rock bands of the time. They had outgrown this tag by the time of the commercial success of their third LP. In 2008, Q magazine described the band as "The biggest cult band in the UK".
It's kinda funny to hear Ryan Jarman throw and crack his voice a little bit with each passing "WHOAH-OH", but that's why I love this band. They play and perform with everything they've got and say screw perfection, this is our music and this is who we are.
No matter how bad people say their vocals are, they’ll never play this song bad! I really wish they did more harmonised shout singing, it’s their biggest strength and what the fans want! 🤘

I really think The Cribs’ forte is when the twins sing in harmony. It just sounds so good and they compliment each other well. Hearing them sing individually is great but they definitely have that kick when they sing together. 🗣🗣 this is why Mirror Kissers is one of their most popular songs to this day 👍

Mirror Kissers**
Fetching a band that still uses a personal method and an original sound is rather impossible, that's how a band turns out to be charming and earnest because the sound is meant to be based on a very addictive formula which drives out the worthless influences whilst sticking to the most inspired fusions ever combined. Straightforwardly this approach is the outcome of several influences this band should have taken and put in the music, but it's also how the emotions you unleash depict your fun and your pleasure. There are several bands playing along with some real twisted and harrowing mixes of craziness, these ones don't bring out a commendable work but they only produce a distasteful album you can't deem right and groundbreaking.
