21:38 looks like remoulade. I make my own with mayo, mustard powder (more bite), paprika, dill relish with a bit of brine, creole seasoning, garlic powder, and some Tabasco. However, I'm boring and just put it on a chicken (creole) sandwich. Another great video BTW. Made me super hungry.
@@inmyopinion6836 While I would love to try that, I'm in MI. And even though I do call Mi the Louisiana of the north, the lake water just wouldn't be the same. The roasted garlic is a great one though. I will adjust the amounts for that.
I've never thought about going to Louisiana and now I want to go. That Tobasco Museum alone looks like it's worth the trip! I'm thinking this might be my escape from the winter cold in the northern midwest next winter. Thanks!
Yes you got me to actually buy a tent for my bike and go eat and ride. I'll throw b that little thing up anywhere. I got the Arkansas book from your page. The Ferry ride is one of my favorite rides in Arkansas
Staci- great video, as usual. Love your work. It's so enjoyable and informative! We love riding in Arkansas, by the way. We were excited to see your partnering with Arkansas tourism bureau and learned a lot from your videos there.
🍻 decided to play a drinking game during the Boudin section…. Word to the wise: we are fucked up 😂 Keep on keepin on babe! We love you & all your content
I know I told you this in person but, to reiterate, you inspired me to get my bike back on the road. I had Arkansas semi-planned but I used your guide to solidify my visit for sure! You rock socks, babe!
You are the best! I’m sure others have said the same but you enjoy the food without making comments on whether it’s healthy or good for your diet or whatever. Thank you!! That’s awesome! You are enjoying life and sharing it! I’ve ridden my 2013 T-100 Triumph almost 80k miles from Orange Beach, Alabama, where I live, to W Virginia to Louisiana, well, 15 states doing similar to what you’re doing and love it. This is my new #1 channel! Now, in the video, you’re about to eat ice cream! You go girl!! 🤘🏻😎
Don’t worry, the comments section always tells me about the health aspects 🤣 always funny to me that people assume so much…they see one meal and think that’s all I eat on a daily basis LOL traveling is for TREATS! Glad you’re enjoying it! Welcome 🤘😎🏍️💨
Great video...We are from New Orleans but honestly, that shrimp Poboy was weak...Not enough shrimp, you should have shrimp falling out of the bread. Yes, there is a major difference in Gulf shrimp. That crab cake and gumbo OMG! 👍 Swamp tours...YES!
Great video! Had to pause the video to check out ordering boudin! All the food looked wonderful & now am hungry. Cajun food area is on my bucket list! Stay safe.
Great video👍🏿!! I enjoyed this. Louisiana has a lot of history. Can't go to Louisiana without doing a swamp tour, hitting Bourbon St, having a Popboy and eating crawfish bowl😁. I just let there this past weekend for "JustGKue" event. Stay safe!!💯
In 2017 my work sent me there for a week of training. As an avid reader of author James Lee Burke I had a basic understanding of what I was getting into. Every chance I got I tried the local food and it was awesome. My most memorable was the étouffée with crawfish.
Hello, I'm a Texassippiaan living in " The Sip " right now. I know your doppelganger! She is my cousin Carrie! When I first saw you, "Riding the Natchez Trace" I thought you were her. She was you..... whatever. LOL I am so glad to find someone who represents our neck of the woods with such glamor and grace. Thank you, I have liked and subscribed. Looking forward to ALL your future posts! ! !
I think that you may have taken my picture at least once at the Cajun Country rally. I thought that I recognized you, but I couldn't remember from where. I was also on Friday's Boudin Run, in the second group. For me, it had been about 40 years since I'd had some real boudin (I went to high school in New Orleans, but my family moved back north after I graduated), and the memories came flooding back with the first bite. And, yes, I have to agree that, out of the three stops, T-Boy's was the best. I'd been wanting to get to one of the HOG rallies in Louisiana for a few years, but this was the first time I've been able to make it, along with a small group from the HOG chapter at Doc's H-D in Saint Louis, for the food almost more than the riding. Great video and content - we'll have to see if we can lure you up to Missouri to visit some of our favorite places to ride to, along with our great roads (much better surfaces than in Louisiana, although we found some fun roads to ride there, as well).
You made me homesick, craving boudin now! Thanks lol never got to ride out there, since i recently started riding while living in Colorado. Wishing i could cruise them back cointry roads along the bayou right about now
Oh my gosh how did you eat all that food. I don’t eat seafood but you made it look good. 😁😁. Thank you for a really cool video. And for telling us the history. Take care
Another excellent video Staci. You had quite the adventure. I love Louisiana, and NOLA. The history, the culture, the food, the music, it’s all so amazing. Thank you for taking the time to make this such a great recollection of your trip.
My daughter was in Louisiana for a few years and the food was a regular topic of conversation between us. Here, you smell the roasted chicken when you walk into the grocery. There, she said it was crawdad boil! She loved the variety of great food choices while there. Thanks for sharing.
I’m in NE TX. We honeymooned in NOLA and visit South LA at least once a year. Our rule is: avoid south Louisiana from April fools day to Halloween. March is the best month to visit.
Thank you Staci. Because of you, I just made an order of Chipotle and Raspberry Chipotle sauce for my trip in Aug to see Amanda. Great content, as always. 😊
So funny you mentioned Arkansas in this video. I just got back from central and northern Arkansas 4 day trip from Lexington Kentucky. I was more than impressed with the roads in Arkansas. we did the "Pig Trail", "Arkansas Dragon" and "Push Mountain Road " they were awesome to ride. Actually route #7 was a great road also took back roads from Mountain Home AR to Paducah Ky and hit some epic roller coaster size hills that were crazy.
Like you, I didn't get oysters, over the years I tried them many times, Until this one time, At a Japanese restaurant came with the dish, bam! I understood why people love them. Been a fan ever since.
The refreshing way you tour and review different places, you make me want to visit all of them. My bucket list is overflowing! As I have said countless times Staci, great job and please keep ‘em coming. Hope you are still in love with your Lowrider ST. Thanks
This was so fun to watch! I am so unfamiliar with the cuisine there - I had never even heard of Boudin! I definitely would like to try that crawfish and the cornbread, that looked really good!
Girl! Miss Staci, first and foremost THANK YOU for sharing! I especially love it when I see Ride to Food pop up on other content publishers because I feel so inspired by your work, where you go and what you do. I've been to many of the areas you share and can only think, dang I missed that place. I don't know you yet as destiny hasn't placed me at the right place at the right time. I have one more US state to ride in so I would very much like to chat with you one day. Mostly because you motivate me and I'm sure many, many others as well. Keep up the good work and if you ever get back to Cochise County AZ I appreciate all the drops you published that showcase Arizona. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
When I took my family to Biloxi we went over to pascagoula and saw some huge gators there it was great. We also ate a "pizza burger" at Aunt Nita's. We liked them so much we had them like 3 times that week lol
Oh, man! I just got off work and fired up your video and now I want Cajun food! What a great trip, thanks so much for putting in all the hours and hard work! Oh, and thanks for taking all of us along with you! I gotta go now and hop on my bike just to get some food because your videos always leave me hungry and wanting to travel!
I'll be heading to Louisiana after the in just over two weeks from the Stubborn American Rally. Perfect timing on another great video. Got a few more places to check out now, thanks!
That’s awesome! I do the same thing, put the chipotle flavor Tabasco sauce on my eggs in the morning also. Honestly, it’s about the only time I use it.

Born and raised in New Iberia and Abbeville. Currently in Lafayette. You did a good job giving your audience a taste of the area!
Yay! Happy to hear that. Thank you. 😊
Forgot to mention, 50 year rider who has risen all the roads in the state multiple times. Yep, can be bumpy, lol.

Ain't it great to see a face like that promoting us here in the South ?!?!?!?!
