I get what your saying because i;m a real born-again child of the king, this is something different , there are so many children abandon by there parents and put into foster homes at a young age and that effects there Character for the rest of there lives but the Good news is God can heal our broken hearts and I'm talking from experience because at age 9 I was taken from my parents and put not in 1 foster home but in 11 different foster homes and it;s so hard to settle down emotionally when you get uprooted so many times as a child but the good news is that God did make a difference in my life because He will never abandon me never ever I love the Lord and My heart goes out to so many children today who are abandon by there parents I feel for them sorry I made a long comment God bless you all and thank you friend for a very good reaction thanks I'm subscribing

I just recently found out that it was his wish to go because he was suffering. I was still just a kid when he passed, so to hear that it was his wish and he is at peace from all that pain and suffering helps me understand why it was his time to go. Life is an onion. So many layers, so many trials. However... Somehow, God finds a way to lift you up, and get you through. You can't dwell...thay leads to dark places. Stepping stones... A very dear friend lost his battle to cancer in 2018….my mom was able to sing “Amazing Grace” to him before he died.
I didn’t get to say goodbye to him but the day he passed away, I felt his presence. He was letting me know he was okay, that he was in his real home.

I relate I and my 9 brothers and sisters where taken from a broken home full of abuse. I spent 6 years in 12 different foster homes. In 1 of those 12 foster homes I went to a church at age 10 and heard my first sermon on the rapture of the church which means those who are born again one day will be caught up or raptured up to meet Jesus in the air as 1 thess, chapter 4 talks about I gave my heart to Jesus and no matter how many more foster homes i went into I knew one day I'd have a permanent home called heaven and never ever be kicked out of that home.

My mom passed away in a hospice care facility in my hometown. Her last words to me was “Joe, I love you”. I will never forget that. Right before her passing I wrote her obituary. Immediately after she passed, I loaded her in the hearse and watched it drive away. That was the most heartbreaking gut wrenching pain I have ever felt.

I lost the only father I had ever known 5 years ago. He adopted me when I was 4 but I don't remember the other. I still bawl when I hear this song and it hits harder bc 2 years ago I then lost my grandpa who always felt like my only grandparent. I start crying right as it plays but then the crocodile and ugly tears come on the hospital bed scene. I got to say goodbye to my grandpa but not to my dad and I've never fully gotten over that. This song will always make me emotional.

Never feel like you need to apologize for your natural human reaction. And I shared many of the same feelings when I saw this for the first time. We are ALL in a temporary home in some ways until the day we pass on, and I'm happy for you that you have a mother who was able to successfully guide you and your sister through a period of homelessness. I'm sure as a result of that you have a greater appreciation for what you have now more than most people would.

I am an adoption worker that works with kids in foster care and this song always has me in tears. There is such a huge need for good foster parents. If anyone reading this has that calling to become a foster parent or has the feeling that they want more information on it, please contact your local department of social services. Please. There are so many children in foster care that need a good home, even if you don’t want to adopt. They need a good home to feel safe and be cared for until their forever family is found.

This song means a lot to me. And yes I sat here crying throughout the entire video. Ive been in so many different foster care homes before my grandparents adopted my siblings and I. But even then when I was old enough I left and had been living in so many different homes. Never fully unpacking because who knows what will happen. I've been living with my bf and his mom for the past couple years and yet I still have things to unpacked. I never feel like I'm home. Like I have a place to belong. Same with jobs. I don't know when I will feel like yes this is the place. But I keep going.
