NEVER use a mallet on a wrench, drain plug are usually made of a softer alloy, heads get stripped, use a 6 point socket on drain plugs, not a 12 point wrench or socket, on scooters do not screw the dip stick all the way in to check oil, just set the dip stick into the hole till the bottom of cap touches crankcase to check oil, no need to try and drain oil from dipstick hole, thats what the drain plug is for,
I think they over torqued that drain plug. Thanks for the video. I just purchased an 07 and this was very informative! I think that was a good idea to pour the clean oil and let it was out the dirty oil left. I will do that.
I just wanted to say I always lean my bike over and it gets more oil out. I noticed you didn't do that. I just double checked my manual and they do say to rock it back and forth so maybe next time you might want to do that just, wanted to give you a tip though, thanks for the video
It perfect i have the bike on a slab and it works perfect 4x6👌 someone paved two lanes with gravel down middle I have 1 spot 4x6 for doing this kind of stuff 😀

I also change my oil more often than manual recommends 4000 mile intervals. I run synthetic and average 1500 mile intervals.

You didn't actually changed the oil filter buddy,that was prefilter. The actual oil filter is spin on metal external filter...
I cleaned it and it all metal clean and well maintained
It's a filter that can be cleaned and reused and it perfect condition like new
These reflex’s nss250 do not have a filter. Just the metal screen shown in vid.
